ಹೀಗೆ ಆ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೋವಾಬ್‌ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಕೈಕೆಳಗೆ ತಗ್ಗಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿತು; ದೇಶವು ಎಂಭತ್ತು ವರುಷ ವಿಶ್ರಾಂತಿಗೊಂಡಿತು.ಅವನ ತರುವಾಯ ಅನಾತನ ಮಗನಾದ ಶಮ್ಗರನು ಎದ್ದನು. ಅವನು ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಆರು ನೂರು ಮನುಷ್ಯರನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿನ ಮುಳ್ಳುಗೋಲಿನಿಂದ ಹತಮಾಡಿದನು. ಅವನು ಸಹ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿದನು.

- 29ಮೋವಾಬ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಕಡಿಮೆ ಹತ್ತು ಸಾವಿರ ಜನರನ್ನು ಹತಮಾಡಿದರು. ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರು ಕೊಬ್ಬಿನವರೂ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮಿಗಳೂ ಆಗಿ ದ್ದರು. ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನಾದರೂ ತಪ್ಪಿಹೋದದ್ದಿಲ್ಲ.
