ದೇವದೂತನು ಅವನಿಗೆನೀನು ಮಾಂಸವನ್ನೂ ಹುಳಿ ಇಲ್ಲದ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಈ ಬಂಡೆಯ ಮೇಲಿಟ್ಟು ರಸವನ್ನು ಹೊಯ್ಯಿ ಅಂದನು. ಅವನು ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಮಾಡಿದನು.
Devadootanu avanigeneenu maansavannoo huli illada rottigalannoo tegedukondu ee bandeya melittu rasavannu hoyyi andanu. Avanu haageye maadidanu.

- 19ಆಗ ಗಿದ್ಯೋನನು ಒಳಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಒಂದು ಮೇಕೆಯ ಮರಿಯನ್ನೂ ಒಂದು ಏಫಾದ ಹಿಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಹುಳಿ ಇಲ್ಲದ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನೂ ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡಿ ಮಾಂಸವನ್ನು ಪುಟ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇಟ್ಟು ರಸವನ್ನು ಪಾತ್ರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಯಿದು ಅದನ್ನು ಹೊರಗೆ ಮರದ ಕೆಳಗೆ ಇದ್ದ ಆತನ ಬಳಿ ಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಂದಿಟ್ಟನು.
- 20ದೇವದೂತನು ಅವನಿಗೆನೀನು ಮಾಂಸವನ್ನೂ ಹುಳಿ ಇಲ್ಲದ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಈ ಬಂಡೆಯ ಮೇಲಿಟ್ಟು ರಸವನ್ನು ಹೊಯ್ಯಿ ಅಂದನು. ಅವನು ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಮಾಡಿದನು.
- 21ಆಗ ಕರ್ತನ ದೂತನು ತನ್ನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಕೋಲಿನ ಕೊನೆಯನ್ನು ಚಾಚಿ ಮಾಂಸವನ್ನೂ ಹುಳಿ ಇಲ್ಲದ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಮುಟ್ಟಿದನು. ಆಗ ಬೆಂಕಿಯು ಬಂಡೆ ಯಿಂದ ಎದ್ದು ಮಾಂಸವನ್ನೂ ಹುಳಿ ಇಲ್ಲದ ರೊಟ್ಟಿ ಗಳನ್ನೂ ದಹಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿತು. ಆಗ ಕರ್ತನ ದೂತನು ಅವನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳಿಗೆ ಕಾಣಿಸದೆ ಹೋದನು.
- 22ಅವನು ಕರ್ತನ ದೂತನೆಂದು ಗಿದ್ಯೋನನು ತಿಳಿದಾಗ ಗಿದ್ಯೋ ನನು--ಅಯ್ಯೋ! ಓ ಕರ್ತನಾದ ದೇವರೇ, ನಾನು ಕರ್ತನ ದೂತನನ್ನು ಮುಖಾಮುಖಿಯಾಗಿ ನೋಡಿ ದೆನು ಅಂದನು.
