ಈ ಪರ್ವತದ ತುದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನೇಮಕವಾದ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಬಲಿಪೀಠವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿ ಆ ಎರಡನೇ ಹೋರಿಯನ್ನು ತಂದು ಅದನ್ನು ನೀನು ಕಡಿದುಹಾಕಿದ ತೋಪಿನ ಕಟ್ಟಿಗೆಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ದಹನಬಲಿಯಾಗಿ ಅರ್ಪಿಸು ಅಂದನು.

- 27ಆಗ ಗಿದ್ಯೋನನು ತನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರಲ್ಲಿ ಹತ್ತು ಮಂದಿಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಕರ್ತನು ತನಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಮಾಡಿದನು. ಆದರೆ ಹಗಲಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಡದ ಹಾಗೆ ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯ ಮನೆಯವರಿಗೂ ಆ ಊರಿನ ಮನುಷ್ಯರಿಗೂ ಭಯಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಡಿ ದನು.
- 28ಆ ಊರಿನ ಮನುಷ್ಯರು ಉದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಎದ್ದಾಗ ಇಗೋ, ಬಾಳನ ಬಲಿಪೀಠವು ಕೆಡವಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿತ್ತು. ಅದರ ಸವಿಾಪದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ತೋಪು ಕಡಿಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿತ್ತು. ಕಟ್ಟಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಬಲಿಪೀಠದ ಮೇಲೆ ಆ ಎರಡನೇ ಹೋರಿ ಬಲಿ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿತ್ತು.
