3. 27ಆಗ ಗಿದ್ಯೋನನು ತನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರಲ್ಲಿ ಹತ್ತು ಮಂದಿಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಕರ್ತನು ತನಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಮಾಡಿದನು. ಆದರೆ ಹಗಲಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಡದ ಹಾಗೆ ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯ ಮನೆಯವರಿಗೂ ಆ ಊರಿನ ಮನುಷ್ಯರಿಗೂ ಭಯಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಡಿ ದನು.
4. 28ಆ ಊರಿನ ಮನುಷ್ಯರು ಉದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಎದ್ದಾಗ ಇಗೋ, ಬಾಳನ ಬಲಿಪೀಠವು ಕೆಡವಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿತ್ತು. ಅದರ ಸವಿಾಪದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ತೋಪು ಕಡಿಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿತ್ತು. ಕಟ್ಟಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಬಲಿಪೀಠದ ಮೇಲೆ ಆ ಎರಡನೇ ಹೋರಿ ಬಲಿ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿತ್ತು.
5. 29ಆಗ ಅವರು ಒಬ್ಬರಿಗೊ ಬ್ಬರು--ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದವನಾರು ಅಂದರು. ಅವರು ವಿಚಾರಿಸಿ ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ ಅವರು--ಯೋವಾಷನ ಮಗನಾದ ಗಿದ್ಯೋನನು ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯ ಮಾಡಿದನು ಅಂದರು.
