ಗಿದ್ಯೋನನು ಆ ಕನಸಿನ ವಿವರವನ್ನೂ ಅದರ ಅರ್ಥವನ್ನೂ ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ ಅವನು ಆರಾಧಿಸಿ ಇಸ್ರಾ ಯೇಲ್‌ ದಂಡಿಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿ ಬಂದು--ಏಳಿರಿ, ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಕರ್ತನು ಮಿದ್ಯಾನ್ಯರ ದಂಡನ್ನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕೈಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

- 14ಅವನ ಜೊತೆಗಾರನು ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರ ಕೊಟ್ಟು --ಇದು ಯೋವಾಷನ ಮಗನಾದ ಗಿದ್ಯೋನನೆಂಬ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ನ ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಕತ್ತಿಯೇ ಹೊರತು ಬೇರೆ ಯಲ್ಲ. ದೇವರು ಮಿದ್ಯಾನ್ಯರನ್ನೂ ಈ ಸಮಸ್ತ ದಂಡನ್ನೂ ಅವನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟನು ಅಂದನು.
- 15ಗಿದ್ಯೋನನು ಆ ಕನಸಿನ ವಿವರವನ್ನೂ ಅದರ ಅರ್ಥವನ್ನೂ ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ ಅವನು ಆರಾಧಿಸಿ ಇಸ್ರಾ ಯೇಲ್‌ ದಂಡಿಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿ ಬಂದು--ಏಳಿರಿ, ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಕರ್ತನು ಮಿದ್ಯಾನ್ಯರ ದಂಡನ್ನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕೈಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
- 16ಆ ಮುನ್ನೂರು ಜನರನ್ನು ಮೂರು ಗುಂಪಾಗಿ ವಿಭಾಗಿಸಿ ಎಲ್ಲರ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ತುತೂರಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಬರಿದಾದ ಕೊಡಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇಡುವ ಪಂಜುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕೊಟ್ಟು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇ ನಂದರೆ--
- 17ನಾನು ಮಾಡುವದನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ನೀವೂ ಮಾಡಿರಿ. ಇಗೋ, ನಾನು ದಂಡಿನ ಹೊರಗೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ಹೇಗೆ ಮಾಡುವೆನೋ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ನೀವೂ ಮಾಡಿರಿ.
