ಅವರು--ನಾವು ಇಷ್ಟಪೂರ್ವಕವಾಗಿ ಕೊಡುವೆವು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಒಂದು ವಸ್ತ್ರವನ್ನು ಹಾಸಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರವರು ಕೊಳ್ಳೆ ಹೊಡೆದ ವಾಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿದರು.
Avaru--naavu ishtapoorvakavaagi koduvevu endu heli ondu vastravannu haasi alli avaravaru kolle hodeda vaalegalannu haakidaru.

- 23ಆಗ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಜನರು ಗಿದ್ಯೋನನಿಗೆನೀನು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಮಿದ್ಯಾನ್ಯರ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿ ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ನೀನೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಕುಮಾರನೂ ಕುಮಾರನ ಕುಮಾರನೂ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಆಳಬೇಕು ಅಂದರು. ಗಿದ್ಯೋ ನನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಆಳುವದಿಲ್ಲ, ನನ್ನ ಮಗನೂ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಆಳುವದಿಲ್ಲ, ಕರ್ತನೇ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಆಳುವನು ಅಂದನು.
- 24ಗಿದ್ಯೋನನು--ಒಂದು ಬಿನ್ನಹವನ್ನು ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಪ್ರತಿ ಯೊಬ್ಬನು ಕೊಳ್ಳೆ ಹೊಡೆದ ವಾಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ಕೊಡಿರಿ ಅಂದನು. (ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಅವರು ಇಷ್ಮಾಯೇ ಲ್ಯರಾಗಿದ್ದದರಿಂದ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಬಂಗಾರದ ಮುರುವು ಗಳಿದ್ದವು).
- 25ಅವರು--ನಾವು ಇಷ್ಟಪೂರ್ವಕವಾಗಿ ಕೊಡುವೆವು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಒಂದು ವಸ್ತ್ರವನ್ನು ಹಾಸಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರವರು ಕೊಳ್ಳೆ ಹೊಡೆದ ವಾಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿದರು.
- 26ಆದರೆ ಆಭರಣಗಳೂ ಕಂಠಮಾಲೆ ಗಳೂ ಮಿದ್ಯಾನ್ಯರ ಅರಸುಗಳು ಹೊದ್ದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದ ರಕ್ತಾಂಬರ ವಸ್ತ್ರಗಳೂ ಅವರ ಒಂಟೆಗಳ ಕೊರಳಿಗೆ ಇದ್ದ ಸರಪಣಿಗಳೂ ಹೊರತು ಅವನು ಕೇಳಿ ತೆಗೆದು ಕೊಂಡ ಬಂಗಾರದ ವಾಲೆಗಳ ತೂಕವು ಸಾವಿರದ ಏಳು ನೂರು ಶೆಕೆಲ್‌ ತೂಕವಾಗಿತ್ತು.
- 27ಆ ಬಂಗಾರ ದಿಂದ ಗಿದ್ಯೋನನು ಒಂದು ಏಫೋದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಸಿ ಅದನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಊರಾದ ಒಫ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಟ್ಟನು. ಆದರೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅದರ ಹಿಂದೆ ಜಾರರಾಗಿ ಹೋದರು. ಅದು ಗಿದ್ಯೋನನಿಗೂ ಅವನ ಮನೆಗೂ ಉರುಲಾಯಿತು.
