ವ್ಯಾಧಿಯು ಚರ್ಮದಲ್ಲಾಗಲಿ ಹಾಸಿನಲ್ಲಾ ಗಲಿ ಹೊಕ್ಕಿನಲ್ಲಾಗಲಿ ಚರ್ಮದಿಂದ ಮಾಡಿದ ಯಾವ ವಸ್ತುವಿನಲ್ಲಾಗಲಿ ಹಸುರಾಗಿ ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಕೆಂಪಾಗಿ ಇದ್ದರೆ ಅದು ಕುಷ್ಠರೋಗವು; ಅದನ್ನು ಯಾಜಕನಿಗೆ ತೋರಿಸ ಬೇಕು.

50ಯಾಜಕನು ವ್ಯಾಧಿಯನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಅದನ್ನು ಏಳು ದಿನಗಳು ಮುಚ್ಚಿಡಬೇಕು:
51ಅವನು ಏಳನೆಯ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ವ್ಯಾಧಿಯನ್ನು ನೋಡಬೇಕು. ಆ ವ್ಯಾಧಿಯು ಅವನ ಉಡುಪಿನಲ್ಲಾಗಲಿ ಹಾಸಿನಲ್ಲಾಗಲಿ ಹೊಕ್ಕಿನ ಲ್ಲಾಗಲಿ ಚರ್ಮದಲ್ಲಾಗಲಿ ಚರ್ಮದಿಂದ ಮಾಡಿದ ಯಾವ ಕೆಲಸದಲ್ಲಾಗಲಿ ಹರಡಿದ್ದರೆ ಅದು ಕೆಟ್ಟಕುಷ್ಠವೇ, ಅದು ಅಶುದ್ಧವು.
