ಯಾಜ ಕನು ಅದನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದಾಗ ಇಗೋ, ಕಜ್ಜಿಯ ಚರ್ಮವೇ ಹರಡಿರುವದಾದರೆ ಆಗ ಅವನು ಅಶುದ್ಧ ನೆಂದು ಯಾಜಕನು ನಿರ್ಣಯಿಸಬೇಕು. ಅದು ಕುಷ್ಠವಾಗಿರುವದು.
Yaaja kanu adannu nodidaaga igo, kajjiya charmave haradiruvadaadare aaga avanu ashuddha nendu yaajakanu nirnayisabeku. Adu kushthavaagiruvadu.

- 6ಯಾಜಕನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಏಳನೆಯ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ನೋಡಬೇಕು. ಆಗ ಇಗೋ, ವ್ಯಾಧಿಯು ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಕಪ್ಪಾ ಗಿದ್ದು ಚರ್ಮದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹರಡದಿದ್ದರೆ ಯಾಜಕನು ಅವ ನನ್ನು ಶುದ್ಧನೆಂದು ನಿರ್ಣಯಿಸಬೇಕು. ಅದು ಬರೀ ಕಜ್ಜಿಯಾದ ಕಾರಣ ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಬಟ್ಟೆಗಳನ್ನು ಒಗೆದು ಕೊಂಡು ಶುದ್ಧನಾಗಿರುವನು.
- 7ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಶುದ್ಧಿಗಾಗಿ ಯಾಜಕನಿಗೆ ತೋರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ಮೇಲೆ ಕಜ್ಜಿಯು ಚರ್ಮದ ಹೊರಗೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ಹಬ್ಬಿದರೆ ಅವನು ತಿರಿಗಿ ಯಾಜಕನಿಗೆ ತೋರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು.
