ಆದಕಾರಣ ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವನಾ ದರೂ ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನಬಾರದೆಂದು ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ನಿಮ್ಮೊಳಗೆ ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಯಾಗಿರುವ ಪರಕೀಯನು ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನಬಾರ ದೆಂದು ನಾನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದೆನು.

- 11ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಪ್ರತಿ ದೇಹಿಗೂ ರಕ್ತವೇ ಪ್ರಾಣಾಧಾರ. ಅಂಥ ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ನೀವು ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಗೆ ಎರಚಿ ನಿಮ ಗೋಸ್ಕರ ದೋಷಪರಿಹಾರ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕೆಂದು ನಿಮಗೆ ಅನುಗ್ರಹ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ರಕ್ತವು ಪ್ರಾಣಾಧಾರ ವಾಗಿರುವ ಕಾರಣ ಅದರಿಂದ ದೋಷಪರಿಹಾರ ವಾಗುತ್ತದಷ್ಟೆ.
- 12ಆದಕಾರಣ ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವನಾ ದರೂ ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನಬಾರದೆಂದು ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ನಿಮ್ಮೊಳಗೆ ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಯಾಗಿರುವ ಪರಕೀಯನು ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನಬಾರ ದೆಂದು ನಾನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದೆನು.
- 13ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಮಕ್ಕಳಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಾದರೂ ನಿಮ್ಮೊಳಗೆ ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಯಾಗಿರುವ ಪರಕೀಯನಾದರೂ ತಿನ್ನುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಬೇಟೆಯಾಡಿ ಯಾವದೇ ಪಶುವನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಪಕ್ಷಿಯನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ಹಿಡಿದರೆ ಅದರ ರಕ್ತವನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಸುರಿದು ಅದನ್ನು ಮಣ್ಣಿ ನಿಂದ ಮುಚ್ಚಬೇಕು.
- 14ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ರಕ್ತವೇ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಶರೀರಗಳ ಜೀವವಾಗಿದೆ; ಅದಕ್ಕಿರುವ ರಕ್ತವು ಅದರ ಜೀವಕ್ಕಾಗಿಯೇ ಇದೆ; ಆದದರಿಂದ ನಾನು ಇಸ್ರಾ ಯೇಲ್‌ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ--ನೀವು ಯಾವ ಬಗೆಯ ಶರೀರದ ರಕ್ತವನ್ನೂ ತಿನ್ನಬಾರದೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಶರೀರಗಳ ಜೀವವು ರಕ್ತದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಇದೆ; ಇದನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನುವ ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕಲ್ಪಡಬೇಕು.
