ಪಶುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮೊದಲಾಗಿ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದ್ದು ಮಾತ್ರವೇ ಕರ್ತನ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲಾಗಿರುವದು. ಅದನ್ನು ಯಾವನೂ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠೆಮಾಡಲಾರನು. ಅದು ಎತ್ತಾಗಲಿ ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಕುರಿ ಯಾಗಲಿ ಅದು ಕರ್ತನದೇ.

- 27ಆದರೆ ಅದು ಅಶುದ್ಧ ಪಶುವಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ ನೀನು ಕ್ರಯ ಕಟ್ಟಿದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ಐದನೇ ಪಾಲನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟು ಅವನು ಅದನ್ನು ವಿಮೋಚಿಸಬೇಕು; ವಿಮೋಚಿಸದಿದ್ದರೆ ಅದನ್ನು ನೀನು ಕ್ರಯ ಕಟ್ಟಿದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಮಾರಬೇಕು.
- 28ಆದಾಗ್ಯೂ ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಯಾವದಾದರೂ ಅಂದರೆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ಪಶುವನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ತನ್ನ ಸ್ವಾಸ್ತ್ಯದ ಹೊಲವನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ತನಗಿದ್ದದ್ದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಕರ್ತನಿಗಾಗಿ ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕಿಸಿದರೆ ಅದನ್ನು ಮಾರಬಾರದು ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ವಿಮೋಚಿಸಬಾರದು; ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕಿ ಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಅತೀ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ವಾದದ್ದೇ.
