ಮನುಷ್ಯರು ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಬೆಂಕಿಯಿಂದ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಿದ ಪ್ರಾಣಿಯ ಕೊಬ್ಬನ್ನು ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ತಿಂದರೆ ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಜನರಿಂದ ತೆಗೆಯಲ್ಪಡಬೇಕು.

King James Version (KJV): For whosoever eateth the fat of the beast, of which men offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD, even the soul that eateth [it] shall be cut off from his people.

23ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನ ಮಕ್ಕಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ಹೇಳ ಬೇಕಾದದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--ನೀವು ಎತ್ತು ಕುರಿ ಆಡು ಇವು ಗಳ ಕೊಬ್ಬನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನಬಾರದು.
24ತಾನಾಗಿಯೇ ಸತ್ತ ಪ್ರಾಣಿಯ ಕೊಬ್ಬನ್ನೂ ಮೃಗಗಳು ಸೀಳಿದ್ದರ ಕೊಬ್ಬನ್ನೂ ಬೇರೆ ಯಾವದಕ್ಕಾದರೂ ಉಪಯೋಗಿಸ ಬಹುದು; ಆದರೆ ನೀವು ಅದನ್ನು ಎಷ್ಟು ಮಾತ್ರವೂ ತಿನ್ನಬಾರದು.
25ಮನುಷ್ಯರು ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಬೆಂಕಿಯಿಂದ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಿದ ಪ್ರಾಣಿಯ ಕೊಬ್ಬನ್ನು ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ತಿಂದರೆ ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಜನರಿಂದ ತೆಗೆಯಲ್ಪಡಬೇಕು.
26ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ನೀವು ಯಾವತರದ ರಕ್ತವನ್ನೂ ಅಂದರೆ ಅದು ಪಕ್ಷಿಯದಾ ಗಲಿ, ಪ್ರಾಣಿಯದಾಗಲಿ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಯಾವ ನಿವಾಸಗಳ ಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ತಿನ್ನಬಾರದು.
27ಯಾವುದೇ ತರದ ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ತಿಂದವನು ಯಾವನೇ ಆಗಿರಲಿ ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಜನರಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದು ಹಾಕಲ್ಪಡಬೇಕು ಎಂಬದೇ.
