3. 23ಆತನು ತನ್ನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಂಡು--ನೀವು ನೋಡು ತ್ತಿರುವವುಗಳನ್ನು ನೋಡುವ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳು ಧನ್ಯವಾದವು ಗಳು ಎಂದು ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿದನು.
4. 24ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಅನೇಕ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳೂ ಅರಸರೂ ನೀವು ನೋಡು ವಂಥವುಗಳನ್ನು ನೋಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಅಪೇಕ್ಷಿಸಿದರೂ ನೋಡಲಿಲ್ಲ ಮತ್ತು ನೀವು ಕೇಳುವಂಥವುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳ ಬೇಕೆಂದು ಅಪೇಕ್ಷಿಸಿದರೂ ಅವರು ಕೇಳಲಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ ಅಂದನು.
5. 25ಆಗ ಇಗೋ, ಒಬ್ಬಾನೊಬ್ಬ ನ್ಯಾಯಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಿಯು ಎದ್ದು ನಿಂತು ಆತನನ್ನು ಶೋಧಿಸುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ-- ಬೋಧಕನೇ, ನಾನು ನಿತ್ಯಜೀವವನ್ನು ಬಾಧ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಹೊಂದುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಏನು ಮಾಡಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದನು.
