ಅವನು--ಒಂದು ನೂರು ಅಳತೆ ಎಣ್ಣೆ ಅಂದನು. ಆಗ ಅವನು--ನಿನ್ನ ಬೆಲೆ ಪಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೋ, ಮತ್ತು ಬೇಗ ಕೂತುಕೊಂಡು ಐವತ್ತು ಎಂದು ಬರೆ ಎಂದು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದನು.
Avanu--ondu nooru alate enne andanu. Aaga avanu--ninna bele pattiyannu tegeduko, mattu bega kootukondu aivattu endu bare endu avanige helidanu.

- 6ಅವನು--ಒಂದು ನೂರು ಅಳತೆ ಎಣ್ಣೆ ಅಂದನು. ಆಗ ಅವನು--ನಿನ್ನ ಬೆಲೆ ಪಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೋ, ಮತ್ತು ಬೇಗ ಕೂತುಕೊಂಡು ಐವತ್ತು ಎಂದು ಬರೆ ಎಂದು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದನು.
- 7ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವನು ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಬೇಕಾದದ್ದು ಎಷ್ಟು? ಅನ್ನಲು ಅವನು--ಒಂದು ನೂರು ಅಳತೆ ಗೋಧಿ ಅಂದನು. ಆಗ ಅವನು--ನಿನ್ನ ಬೆಲೆ ಪಟ್ಟಿ ಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಎಂಭತ್ತು ಎಂದು ಬರೆ ಅಂದನು.
- 8ಆಗ ಯಜಮಾನನು ಅನ್ಯಾಯಗಾರನಾದ ಆ ಮನೆವಾರ್ತೆಯವನು ಜಾಣತನ ಮಾಡಿದನೆಂದು ಅವನನ್ನು ಹೊಗಳಿದನು; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಈ ಲೋಕದ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ತಮ್ಮ ಸಂತತಿಯವರಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಳಕಿನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗಿಂತ ಜಾಣರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
