ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವನು ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಬೇಕಾದದ್ದು ಎಷ್ಟು? ಅನ್ನಲು ಅವನು--ಒಂದು ನೂರು ಅಳತೆ ಗೋಧಿ ಅಂದನು. ಆಗ ಅವನು--ನಿನ್ನ ಬೆಲೆ ಪಟ್ಟಿ ಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಎಂಭತ್ತು ಎಂದು ಬರೆ ಅಂದನು.

- 8ಆಗ ಯಜಮಾನನು ಅನ್ಯಾಯಗಾರನಾದ ಆ ಮನೆವಾರ್ತೆಯವನು ಜಾಣತನ ಮಾಡಿದನೆಂದು ಅವನನ್ನು ಹೊಗಳಿದನು; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಈ ಲೋಕದ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ತಮ್ಮ ಸಂತತಿಯವರಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಳಕಿನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗಿಂತ ಜಾಣರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
- 9ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಹೇಳುವದೇ ನಂದರೆ--ಅನ್ಯಾಯದ ಧನದಿಂದ ನಿಮಗೆ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ; ಅದು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೋದಾಗ ಅವರು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ನಿತ್ಯವಾದ ನಿವಾಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇರಿಸಿ ಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು.
