1. 5ಆಗ ಅಪೋಸ್ತಲರು ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ--ನಮ್ಮ ನಂಬಿಕೆ ಯನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸು ಅಂದರು.
2. 6ಕರ್ತನು ಅವರಿಗೆ-- ನಿಮಗೆ ಸಾಸಿವೆ ಕಾಳಿನಷ್ಟು ನಂಬಿಕೆ ಇರುವದಾದರೆ ನೀವು ಈ ಆಲದ ಮರಕ್ಕೆ--ನೀನು ಬೇರು ಸಹಿತ ಕಿತ್ತುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿ ಸಮುದ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾಟಿಕೋ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುವದಾದರೆ ಅದು ನಿಮಗೆ ವಿಧೇಯ ವಾಗುವದು.
3. 7ಆದರೆ ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನಿಗೆ ಉಳುವ ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ದನಕರು ಕಾಯುವ ಆಳಿರಲಾಗಿ ಅವನು ಹೊಲದಿಂದ ಬಂದಾ ಗಲೇ ಅವನಿಗೆ--ಹೋಗಿ ಊಟಕ್ಕೆ ಕೂತುಕೋ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುವದುಂಟೇ?
4. 8ಹಾಗೆ ಹೇಳದೆ--ನಾನು ಊಟ ಮಾಡುವಂತೆ ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ನಡುವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿ ಕೊಂಡು ನಾನು ತಿಂದು ಕುಡಿಯುವ ತನಕ ನನ್ನ ಸೇವೆ ಮಾಡು; ತರುವಾಯ ನೀನು ತಿಂದು ಕುಡಿ ಎಂದು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳುವದಿಲ್ಲವೇ?
5. 9ತನಗೆ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟವುಗಳನ್ನು ಆ ಆಳು ಮಾಡಿದರೆ (ಯಜಮಾ ನನು) ಅವನಿಗೆ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆಯುಳ್ಳವನಾಗಿರುವನೋ? ನಾನು ನೆನಸುವದಿಲ್ಲ.
