1. 10ಫಲ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನು ತನಗೆ ಬರಬೇಕಾಗಿದ್ದ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷೇ ತೊಟದ ಫಲವನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವಂತೆ ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಆಳನ್ನು ಅವರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟನು. ಆದರೆ ಆ ಒಕ್ಕಲಿಗರು ಅವನನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆದು ಬರಿದಾಗಿ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟರು.
2. 11ಅವನು ಇನ್ನೊಬ್ಬ ಆಳನ್ನು ತಿರಿಗಿ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು. ಅವರು ಅವನನ್ನು ಸಹ ಹೊಡೆದು ಅವಮಾನಪಡಿಸಿ ಬರಿದಾಗಿ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟರು.
3. 12ಅವನು ತಿರಿಗಿ ಮೂರನೆಯವನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು; ಆಗ ಅವರು ಅವನನ್ನು ಸಹ ಗಾಯಪಡಿಸಿ ಹೊರಗೆ ಹಾಕಿದರು.
4. 13ಆಗ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷೇತೋಟದ ಯಜಮಾನನು--ನಾನೇನು ಮಾಡಲಿ? ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಿಯ ಮಗನನ್ನೇ ಕಳುಹಿ ಸುವೆನು. ಅವರು ಇವನನ್ನು ನೋಡಿಯಾದರೂ ಇವ ನನ್ನು ಗೌರವಿಸಿಯಾರು ಎಂದು ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡನು.
5. 14ಆದರೆ ಒಕ್ಕಲಿಗರು ಅವನನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದಾಗ ತಮ್ಮತಮ್ಮೊಳಗೆ--ಇವನೇ ಬಾಧ್ಯಸ್ಥನು; ಬನ್ನಿರಿ, ಇವ ನನ್ನು ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕೋಣ ಬಾಧ್ಯತೆಯು ನಮ್ಮದಾಗು ತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ಆಲೋಚನೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡರು.
