ಆಗ ಆತನು ಅವರಿಗೆ--ನಾನು ಶ್ರಮೆಯನ್ನು ಅನುಭವಿಸು ವದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮುಂಚೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗಡ ಈ ಪಸ್ಕ ಊಟಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಕುತೂಹಲದಿಂದ ಅಪೇಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ದ್ದೇನೆ

- 16ಇದು ದೇವರ ರಾಜ್ಯದೊಳಗೆ ನೆರವೇರುವ ತನಕ ನಾನು ಇನ್ನು ಮೇಲೆ ಇದನ್ನು ಊಟಮಾಡುವದೇ ಇಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ ಅಂದನು.
- 17ಆತನು ಪಾತ್ರೆಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಸ್ತೋತ್ರ ಮಾಡಿ--ಇದನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ ಮತ್ತು ನಿಮ್ಮೊಳಗೆ ಹಂಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ ಅಂದನು.
