ಯಾವ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿಯಾದರೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಕಾಲು ಕಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಅಪ್ಪಳಿಸ ದಂತೆ ಅವರು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮ ಕೈಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಎತ್ತಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು ಎಂದು ಬರೆದದೆ ಅಂದನು.

9ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವನು ಆತನನ್ನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ಕರತಂದು ದೇವಾಲಯ ಗೋಪುರದ ಮೇಲೆ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿ ಆತನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ದೇವಕುಮಾರನಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ ಇಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಕೆಳಗೆ ದುಮುಕು;
10ಆತನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಾಯುವದಕ್ಕೆ ತನ್ನ ದೂತರಿಗೆ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆ ಕೊಡುವನು;
11ಯಾವ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿಯಾದರೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಕಾಲು ಕಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಅಪ್ಪಳಿಸ ದಂತೆ ಅವರು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮ ಕೈಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಎತ್ತಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು ಎಂದು ಬರೆದದೆ ಅಂದನು.
12ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಯೇಸು ಪ್ರತ್ಯು ತ್ತರವಾಗಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಶೋಧಿಸಬಾರದೆಂದು ಹೇಳಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದೆ ಅಂದನು.
13ಸೈತಾನನು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಶೋಧನೆಯನ್ನು ಮುಗಿಸಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಕಾಲ ಆತನ ಬಳಿಯಿಂದ ಹೊರಟು ಹೋದನು.
