4. 20ಆಗ ಆತನು ಅವರ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ-- ಮನುಷ್ಯನೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ಪಾಪಗಳು ನಿನಗೆ ಕ್ಷಮಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿವೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
5. 21ಆಗ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಿಗಳೂ ಫರಿ ಸಾಯರೂ--ದೇವದೂಷಣೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಇವನು ಯಾರು? ದೇವರೊಬ್ಬನೇ ಹೊರತು ಪಾಪಗಳನ್ನು ಕ್ಷಮಿಸುವವರು ಯಾರು ಎಂದು ತಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿಕೊಂಡರು.
