ಯಾರೂ ಹಳೇಬುದ್ದಲಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಸದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸವನ್ನು ಹಾಕುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ಹಾಕಿದರೆ ಹೊಸದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸವು ಬುದ್ದಲಿಗಳನ್ನು ಒಡೆಯುವದ ರಿಂದ ಅದು ಚೆಲ್ಲಿ ಹೋಗುವದು ಮತ್ತು ಬುದ್ದಲಿಗಳು ಹಾಳಾಗಿ ಹೋಗುವವು.

- 38ಆದರೆ ಹೊಸದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾ ರಸವನ್ನು ಹೊಸ ಬುದ್ದಲಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಕಿಡತಕ್ಕದ್ದು; ಹೀಗೆ ಅವೆರಡೂ ಭದ್ರವಾಗಿರುವವು.ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ಹಳೇದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸವನ್ನು ಕುಡಿದ ಕೂಡಲೆ ಹೊಸದನ್ನು ಅಪೇಕ್ಷಿಸುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಅವನು--ಹಳೇದೇ ಉತ್ತಮ ಅನ್ನುವನು.
- 39ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ಹಳೇದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸವನ್ನು ಕುಡಿದ ಕೂಡಲೆ ಹೊಸದನ್ನು ಅಪೇಕ್ಷಿಸುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಅವನು--ಹಳೇದೇ ಉತ್ತಮ ಅನ್ನುವನು.
