1. 34ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಮೇಯಿಸು ತ್ತಿದ್ದವರು ಸಂಭವಿಸಿದ್ದನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಓಡಿಹೋಗಿ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಸೀಮೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಅದನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಯ ಪಡಿಸಿದರು.
2. 35ಆಗ ಜನರು ನಡೆದ ಸಂಗತಿ ಏನೆಂದು ನೋಡುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಹೊರಟು ಹೋಗಿ ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ದೆವ್ವಗಳು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೋಗಿದ್ದ ಆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಬಟ್ಟೆಯನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಸ್ವಸ್ಥಬುದ್ಧಿ ಯುಳ್ಳವನಾಗಿ ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಪಾದಗಳ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂತಿರುವದನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಭಯಪಟ್ಟರು.
3. 36ಅದನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದವರು ಸಹ ಯಾವ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ದೆವ್ವಗಳಿಂದ ಹಿಡಿದಿದ್ದವನು ಸ್ವಸ್ಥಮಾಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟನೆಂದು ಅವರಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯ ಪಡಿಸಿದರು.
4. 37ಆಗ ಗದರೇನನ ಸೀಮೆಯ ಸುತ್ತು ಮುತ್ತಲಿನ ಜನಸಮೂಹವೆಲ್ಲವು ಬಹಳ ಭಯ ಹಿಡಿದವರಾದದರಿಂದ ಆತನು ತಮ್ಮ ಬಳಿಯಿಂದ ಹೊರಟುಹೋಗಬೇಕೆಂದು ಆತನನ್ನು ಬೇಡಿ ಕೊಂಡರು; ಆತನು ದೋಣಿಯನ್ನು ಹತ್ತಿಹಿಂದಿರುಗಿ ದನು.
5. 38ಆಗ ದೆವ್ವಗಳು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೋಗಿದ್ದ ಆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ತಾನು ಆತನ ಜೊತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವೆನೆಂದು ಆತನನ್ನು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಂಡನು. ಆದರೆ ಯೇಸು ಅವನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟು ಅವನಿಗೆ--
