ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಮೇಯಿಸು ತ್ತಿದ್ದವರು ಸಂಭವಿಸಿದ್ದನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಓಡಿಹೋಗಿ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಸೀಮೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಅದನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಯ ಪಡಿಸಿದರು.

- 32ಆಗ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಹಳ ಹಂದಿಗಳ ಹಿಂಡು ಮೇಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದದರಿಂದ ಅವುಗಳೊಳಗೆ ತಾವು ಸೇರಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಅಪ್ಪಣೆ ಕೊಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಆತನನ್ನು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಂಡವು. ಆತನು ಅವುಗಳಿಗೆ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಕೊಟ್ಟನು.
- 33ಆಗ ಆ ದೆವ್ವಗಳು ಆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನೊಳಗಿಂದ ಹೊರಗೆ ಬಂದು ಹಂದಿಗಳೊಳಗೆ ಸೇರಿದವು. ಆ ಗುಂಪು ಉಗ್ರತೆಯಿಂದ ಓಡಿ ಕಡಿದಾದ ಸ್ಥಳದಿಂದ ಕೆರೆಯೊಳಗೆ ಬಿದ್ದು ಉಸಿರುಗಟ್ಟಿ ಸತ್ತವು.
- 34ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಮೇಯಿಸು ತ್ತಿದ್ದವರು ಸಂಭವಿಸಿದ್ದನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಓಡಿಹೋಗಿ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಸೀಮೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಅದನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಯ ಪಡಿಸಿದರು.
- 35ಆಗ ಜನರು ನಡೆದ ಸಂಗತಿ ಏನೆಂದು ನೋಡುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಹೊರಟು ಹೋಗಿ ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ದೆವ್ವಗಳು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೋಗಿದ್ದ ಆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಬಟ್ಟೆಯನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಸ್ವಸ್ಥಬುದ್ಧಿ ಯುಳ್ಳವನಾಗಿ ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಪಾದಗಳ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂತಿರುವದನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಭಯಪಟ್ಟರು.
- 36ಅದನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದವರು ಸಹ ಯಾವ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ದೆವ್ವಗಳಿಂದ ಹಿಡಿದಿದ್ದವನು ಸ್ವಸ್ಥಮಾಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟನೆಂದು ಅವರಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯ ಪಡಿಸಿದರು.
