ಆತನು ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಮುಂದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದಾಗ ಜೆಬೆದಾಯನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯಾಕೋಬನೂ ಅವನ ಸಹೋದರನಾದ ಯೋಹಾನನೂ ದೋಣಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಬಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸರಿಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದದ್ದನ್ನು ಕಂಡನು.

- 20ಕೂಡಲೆ ಆತನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಕರೆದನು; ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ಜೆಬೆದಾಯನನ್ನು ಕೂಲಿಯಾಳುಗಳ ಸಂಗಡ ದೋಣಿ ಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಆತನ ಹಿಂದೆ ಹೋದರು.
- 21ಆಗ ಅವರು ಕಪೆರ್ನೌಮಿಗೆ ಹೋದರು; ಕೂಡಲೆ ಆತನು ಸಬ್ಬತ್‌ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಭಾಮಂದಿರ ದೊಳಗೆ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿ ಬೋಧಿಸಿದನು.
