ಆಗ ಮಹಾಯಾಜಕನು ಎದ್ದು ನಡುವೆ ನಿಂತು ಯೇಸುವಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ಏನೂ ಉತ್ತರಕೊಡುವದಿ ಲ್ಲವೋ? ಇವರು ನಿನಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳುವ ಈ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿ ಏನು ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದನು.

- 61ಆದರೆ ಆತನು ಏನೂ ಉತ್ತರ ಕೊಡದೆ ಮೌನವಾಗಿದ್ದನು; ತಿರಿಗಿ ಮಹಾಯಾಜಕನು--ನೀನು ಆ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನೋ? ಸ್ತುತಿಹೊಂದುವಾತನ ಕುಮಾರನೋ ಎಂದು ಆತನನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದನು.
- 62ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಯೇಸು--ನಾನೇ, ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಮನುಷ್ಯಕುಮಾರನು ಸರ್ವಶಕ್ತನ ಬಲಪಾರ್ಶ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಸೀನನಾಗಿರುವದನ್ನೂ ಆಕಾಶದ ಮೇಘಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬರುವದನ್ನೂ ನೀವು ನೋಡುವಿರಿ ಅಂದನು.
