ಅನೇಕ ವೈದ್ಯರಿಂದ ಬಹು ಕಷ್ಟಗಳನ್ನು ಅನುಭವಿಸಿ ತನಗಿದ್ದದ್ದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ವೆಚ್ಚ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾಗ್ಯೂ ರೋಗವು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಯಿತೇ ಹೊರತು ಗುಣವಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ.

24ಆಗ ಯೇಸು ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಹೋದನು; ಮತ್ತು ಬಹಳ ಜನರು ನೂಕಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಆತನ ಹಿಂದೆ ಹೋದರು.
25ಆಗ ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ವರುಷಗಳಿಂದ ರಕ್ತಸ್ರಾವವಿದ್ದ ಒಬ್ಬ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯು
26ಅನೇಕ ವೈದ್ಯರಿಂದ ಬಹು ಕಷ್ಟಗಳನ್ನು ಅನುಭವಿಸಿ ತನಗಿದ್ದದ್ದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ವೆಚ್ಚ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾಗ್ಯೂ ರೋಗವು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಯಿತೇ ಹೊರತು ಗುಣವಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ.
27ಆಗ ಆಕೆಯು ಯೇಸುವಿನ ವಿಷಯ ಕೇಳಿ ಜನರ ಗುಂಪಿನ ಹಿಂದೆ ಬಂದು ಆತನ ಉಡುಪನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟಿ ದಳು.
28ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಆಕೆಯು--ನಾನು ಆತನ ಉಡುಪುಗಳನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟಿದರೆ ಸಾಕು, ಗುಣವಾಗುವೆನು ಎಂದು ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಳು.
