ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಆತನು ಅವ ನಿಗೆ--ಅಶುದ್ಧಾತ್ಮವೇ, ಆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನೊಳಗಿನಿಂದ ಹೊರಗೆ ಬಾ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದನು.
Yaakandare aatanu ava nige--ashuddhaatmave, aa manushyanolagininda horage baa endu heliddanu.

- 8ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಆತನು ಅವ ನಿಗೆ--ಅಶುದ್ಧಾತ್ಮವೇ, ಆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನೊಳಗಿನಿಂದ ಹೊರಗೆ ಬಾ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದನು.
- 9ಆತನು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ನಿನ್ನ ಹೇಸರೇನು ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಲು ಅವನು ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರವಾಗಿ--ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರು ಲೀಜೆನ್‌ (ದಂಡು); ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ನಾವು ಅನೇಕರಿದ್ದೇವೆ ಅಂದನು.
- 10ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಆ ದೇಶದೊಳಗಿಂದ ಹೊರಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸದಂತೆ ಅವನು ಆತನನ್ನು ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಬೇಡಿ ಕೊಂಡನು.
