ಆಗ ಅವರು ತೊದಲು ಮಾತನಾಡುವ ಒಬ್ಬ ಕಿವುಡನನ್ನು ಆತನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ತಂದು ಆತನು ತನ್ನ ಕೈಯನ್ನು ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಇಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಆತನನ್ನು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಂಡರು.

Aaga avaru todalu maatanaaduva obba kivudanannu aatana balige tandu aatanu tanna kaiyannu avana mele idabekendu aatanannu bedikondaru.

King James Version (KJV): And they bring unto him one that was deaf, and had an impediment in his speech; and they beseech him to put his hand upon him.

30ಆಕೆಯು ತನ್ನ ಮನೆಗೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ದೆವ್ವವು ಹೊರಟು ಹೋದದ್ದನ್ನೂ ತನ್ನ ಮಗಳು ಹಾಸಿಗೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಮಲಗಿದ್ದನ್ನೂ ಕಂಡಳು.
31ತಿರಿಗಿ ಆತನು ತೂರ್‌ ಸೀದೋನ್‌ ತೀರಗಳಿಂದ ಹೊರಟು ದೆಕಪೊಲಿಯ ತೀರಗಳ ಮಧ್ಯದಿಂದ ಗಲಿ ಲಾಯ ಸಮುದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದನು.
32ಆಗ ಅವರು ತೊದಲು ಮಾತನಾಡುವ ಒಬ್ಬ ಕಿವುಡನನ್ನು ಆತನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ತಂದು ಆತನು ತನ್ನ ಕೈಯನ್ನು ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಇಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಆತನನ್ನು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಂಡರು.
33ಆತನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಜನಸಮೂಹದಿಂದ ಆಚೆಗೆ ಕರಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿ ತನ್ನ ಬೆರಳುಗಳನ್ನು ಅವನ ಕಿವಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿಟ್ಟು ಉಗುಳಿ ಅವನ ನಾಲಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟಿದನು;
34ಮತ್ತು ಆತನು ಪರಲೋಕದ ಕಡೆಗೆ ನೋಡುತ್ತಾ ನಿಟ್ಟುಸಿರುಬಿಟ್ಟು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ಎಪ್ಫಥಾ ಅಂದನು. ಅಂದರೆ ತೆರೆಯಲ್ಪಡಲಿ ಎಂದರ್ಥ.
