ಕೂಡಲೆ ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಆತನನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಬಹು ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯಪಟ್ಟು ಓಡುತ್ತಾ ಬಂದು ಆತನನ್ನು ವಂದಿಸಿ ದರು.

- 14ಆತನು ತನ್ನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ಅವರ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಸಮೂಹವನ್ನೂ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಿಗಳು ಅವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ತರ್ಕಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವದನ್ನೂ ಕಂಡನು.
- 15ಕೂಡಲೆ ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಆತನನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಬಹು ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯಪಟ್ಟು ಓಡುತ್ತಾ ಬಂದು ಆತನನ್ನು ವಂದಿಸಿ ದರು.
- 16ಆಗ ಆತನು ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಿಗಳಿಗೆ-- ಅವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ನೀವು ಏನು ತರ್ಕಮಾಡುತ್ತೀರಿ ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದನು.
- 17ಆಗ ಸಮೂಹದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನು ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರವಾಗಿ--ಬೋಧಕನೇ, ಮೂಕದೆವ್ವ ಹಿಡಿದ ನನ್ನ ಮಗನನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದೆನು.
