ಹೀಗೆ ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನಿಂದ ದಾವೀದನ ವರೆಗೆ ಒಟ್ಟು ಹದಿನಾಲ್ಕು ತಲೆಗಳು; ದಾವೀದನು ಮೊದಲು ಗೊಂಡು ಬಾಬೆಲಿಗೆ ಸೆರೆಹೋಗುವ ವರೆಗೆ ಹದಿ ನಾಲ್ಕು ತಲೆಗಳು; ಬಾಬೆಲಿಗೆ ಸೆರೆಹೋದಂದಿನಿಂದ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನ ವರೆಗೆ ಹದಿನಾಲ್ಕು ತಲೆಗಳು.

- 19ಆದರೆ ಆಕೆಯ ಗಂಡನಾದ ಯೋಸೇಫನು ನೀತಿವಂತನಾಗಿದ್ದು ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ಬೈಲಿಗೆ ತರುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಮನಸ್ಸಿಲ್ಲದೆ ರಹಸ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟುಬಿಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಆಲೋಚಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು.
