ಯೇಸು ಆ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿ ಮುಗಿಸಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಗಲಿಲಾಯದಿಂದ ಹೊರಟು ಯೊರ್ದನಿನ ಆಚೆಯಿದ್ದ ತೀರಗಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದನು.
And it came to pass, [that] when Jesus had finished these sayings, he departed from Galilee, and came into the coasts of Judaea beyond Jordan;
ಜನರ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಸಮೂಹಗಳು ಆತನನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿ ಸಿದವು; ಮತ್ತು ಆತನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವಸ್ಥ ಮಾಡಿದನು.
And great multitudes followed him; and he healed them there.
ಆಗ ಫರಿಸಾಯರು ಸಹ ಆತನನ್ನು ಶೋಧಿಸುವದ ಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಆತನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು -- ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಯಾವ ಕಾರಣದಿಂದಲಾದರೂ ತನ್ನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಬಿಡುವದು ಅವನಿಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯವೋ ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದರು.
The Pharisees also came unto him, tempting him, and saying unto him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause?
ಆತನು ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರವಾಗಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ-- ಆದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಉಂಟುಮಾಡಿದಾತನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಗಂಡು ಹೆಣ್ಣಾಗಿ ಉಂಟುಮಾಡಿದನು.
And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made [them] at the beginning made them male and female,
ಈ ಕಾರಣದಿಂದ ಪುರುಷನು ತಂದೆತಾಯಿಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ತನ್ನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯನ್ನು ಸೇರಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವನು; ಹೀಗೆ ಅವರಿಬ್ಬರೂ ಒಂದೇ ಶರೀರ ವಾಗಿರುವರು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದನ್ನು ನೀವು ಓದ ಲಿಲ್ಲವೋ?
And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh?
ಆದದರಿಂದ ಅವರು ಇನ್ನು ಇಬ್ಬರಲ್ಲ, ಒಂದೇ ಶರೀರವಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆದಕಾರಣ ದೇವರು ಕೂಡಿ ಸಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಅಗಲಿಸಬಾರದು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ದನು.
Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.
ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವರು ಆತನಿಗೆ--ಹೀಗಾದರೆ ತ್ಯಾಗ ಪತ್ರವನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟು ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟುಬಿಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಮೋಶೆಯು ಯಾಕೆ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಕೊಟ್ಟನು ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದರು.
They say unto him, Why did Moses then command to give a writing of divorcement, and to put her away?
ಆತನು ಅವರಿಗೆ--ಮೋಶೆಯು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹೃದಯದ ಕಾಠಿಣ್ಯತೆಯ ದೆಸೆಯಿಂದ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹೆಂಡತಿ ಯರನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟುಬಿಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಕೊಟ್ಟನು. ಆದರೆ ಆದಿಯಿಂದ ಅದು ಹಾಗೆ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ ಅಂದನು.
He saith unto them, Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so.
ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಹೇಳುವದೇನಂದರೆ--ಹಾದರದ ಕಾರಣದಿಂ ದಲ್ಲದೆ ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ತನ್ನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯನ್ನು ಬಿಟು ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬಳನ್ನು ಮದುವೆಯಾದರೆ ಅವನು ವ್ಯಭಿಚಾರ ಮಾಡುವವನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಗಂಡ ಬಿಟ್ಟವಳನ್ನು ಮದುವೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವವನು ವ್ಯಭಿಚಾರ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆ.
And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except [it be] for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.
ಆಗ ಆತನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ಆತನಿಗೆ-- ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿ ಯು ತನ್ನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಹೀಗಿರುವದಾದರೆ ಮದು ವೆಯಾಗುವದು ಒಳ್ಳೇದಲ್ಲ ಅಂದಾಗ.
His disciples say unto him, If the case of the man be so with [his] wife, it is not good to marry.
ಆತನು ಅವರಿಗೆ--ಯಾರಿಗೆ ಇದು ಕೊಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದೆಯೋ ಅವರೇ ಹೊರತು ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಈ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಅಂಗೀಕರಿಸಲಾರರು.
But he said unto them, All [men] cannot receive this saying, save [they] to whom it is given.
ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ತಮ್ಮ ತಾಯಿಯ ಗರ್ಭದಿಂದ ಹುಟ್ಟಿ ದಾಗಲೇ ಕೆಲವರು ನಪುಂಸಕರಾದವರಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ಮತ್ತು ಕೆಲವರು ಮನುಷ್ಯರಿಂದ ನಪುಂಸಕರಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ವರು ಇದ್ದಾರೆ, ಇನ್ನು ಕೆಲವರು ಪರಲೋಕರಾಜ್ಯದ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವಾಗಿ ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ತಾವೇ ನಪುಂಸಕರಾಗ ಮಾಡಿ ಕೊಂಡವರೂ ಇದ್ದಾರೆ; ಇದ
For there are some eunuchs, which were so born from [their] mother’s womb: and there are some eunuchs, which were made eunuchs of men: and there be eunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven’s sake. He that is able to receive [it], let him receive [it.]
ತರುವಾಯ ಆತನು ತನ್ನ ಕೈಗಳನ್ನಿಟ್ಟು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸು ವಂತೆ ಕೆಲವರು ಚಿಕ್ಕಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಆತನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ತಂದರು. ಆಗ ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ಅವರನ್ನು ಗದರಿಸಿದರು.
Then were there brought unto him little children, that he should put [his] hands on them, and pray: and the disciples rebuked them.
ಆದರೆ ಯೇಸು--ಚಿಕ್ಕಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿರಿ, ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಾರ ದಂತೆ ಅವುಗಳಿಗೆ ಅಡ್ಡಿ ಮಾಡಬೇಡಿರಿ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಪರಲೋಕರಾಜ್ಯವು ಇಂಥವರದೇ ಅಂದನು.
But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.
ಮತ್ತು ಆತನು ಅವುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ತನ್ನ ಕೈಗಳನ್ನಿಟ್ಟು ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಹೊರಟು ಹೋದನು.
And he laid [his] hands on them, and departed thence.
ಆಗ ಇಗೋ, ಒಬ್ಬನು ಬಂದು ಆತನಿಗೆ-- ಒಳ್ಳೇ ಬೋಧಕನೇ, ನಾನು ನಿತ್ಯಜೀವವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಯಾವ ಒಳ್ಳೇ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಮಾಡ ಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದನು.
And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?
ಆಗ ಆತನು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯವನೆಂದು ನೀನು ಯಾಕೆ ಕರೆಯುತ್ತೀ? ದೇವರೊಬ್ಬನೇ ಹೊರತು ಮತ್ತಾವನೂ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯವ ನಲ್ಲ; ಆದರೆ ನೀನು ಜೀವದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇರಬೇಕೆಂದು ಅಪೇ ಕ್ಷಿಸಿದರೆ(ದೇವರ)ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಕೊಂಡು ನಡೆದುಕೋ ಅಂದನು.
And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? [there is] none good but one, [that is], God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.
ಅವನು ಆತನಿಗೆ--ಅವು ಯಾವವು ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದನು. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಯೇಸು--ನೀನು ನರಹತ್ಯ ಮಾಡಬಾರದು, ನೀನು ವ್ಯಭಿಚಾರ ಮಾಡಬಾರದು, ನೀನು ಕದಿಯ ಬಾರದು, ನೀನು ಸುಳ್ಳುಸಾಕ್ಷಿ ಹೇಳ ಬಾರದು.
He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness,
ನಿನ್ನ ತಂದೆ ತಾಯಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸನ್ಮಾನಿಸಬೇಕು; ಮತ್ತು ನಿನ್ನ ನೆರೆಯವನನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನಂತೆಯೇ ಪ್ರೀತಿಮಾಡ ಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
Honour thy father and [thy] mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
ಆಗ ಆ ಯೌವನಸ್ಥನು ಆತನಿಗೆ--ಇವೆಲ್ಲವುಗಳನ್ನು ನಾನು ಬಾಲ್ಯದಿಂದಲೇ ಕೈಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ಇನ್ನು ನನಗೇನು ಕಡಿಮೆಯಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದನು.
The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet?
ಯೇಸು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣನಾಗಲು ಅಪೇಕ್ಷಿಸಿದರೆ ಹೋಗಿ ನಿನಗೆ ಇದ್ದದ್ದನ್ನು ಮಾರಿ ಬಡವರಿಗೆ ಕೊಡು; ಆಗ ನಿನಗೆ ಪರಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಪತ್ತಿರುವದು; ಮತ್ತು ನೀನು ಬಂದು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go [and] sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come [and] follow me.
ಆದರೆ ಆ ಯೌವನಸ್ಥನು ಆತನು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ದುಃಖ ದಿಂದ ಹೊರಟುಹೋದನು. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಬಹಳ ಆಸ್ತಿ ಇತ್ತು.
But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.
ತರುವಾಯ ಯೇಸು ತನ್ನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರಿಗೆ-- ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯ ವಂತನು ಪರಲೋಕ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇರುವದು ಕಷ್ಟ ಎಂದು ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ನಿಜವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ.
Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven.
ತಿರಿಗಿ ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಹೇಳುವದೇನಂದರೆ-- ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯವಂತನು ದೇವರ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇರುವದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಸೂಜಿಯ ಕಣ್ಣಿನೊಳಗೆ ಒಂಟೆಯು ನುಗ್ಗುವದು ಸುಲಭ ಅಂದನು.
And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
ಇದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ ಆತನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ವಿಸ್ಮಯಗೊಂಡು-- ಹಾಗಾದರೆ ರಕ್ಷಿಸಲ್ಪಡುವವರು ಯಾರು ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದರು.
When his disciples heard [it], they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved?
ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಯೇಸು ಅವರನ್ನು ದೃಷ್ಟಿಸಿ ನೋಡಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ--ಇದು ಮನುಷ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಅಸಾಧ್ಯ; ಆದರೆ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಎಲ್ಲವು ಸಾಧ್ಯವೇ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
But Jesus beheld [them], and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.
ಆಮೇಲೆ ಪೇತ್ರನು ಆತನಿಗೆ--ಇಗೋ, ನಾವು ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸಿದೆವು; ಆದದ ರಿಂದ ನಮಗೆ ಏನು ದೊರೆಯುವದು ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದನು.
Then answered Peter and said unto him, Behold, we have forsaken all, and followed thee; what shall we have therefore?
ಯೇಸು ಅವರಿಗೆ--ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ನಿಜವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ--ಹೊಸ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮನುಷ್ಯಕುಮಾರನು ತನ್ನ ಮಹಿಮೆಯ ಸಿಂಹಾಸನ ದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂತುಕೊಂಡಿರಲು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸಿದವರಾದ ನೀವು ಸಹ ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ಸಿಂಹಾಸನಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೂತುಕೊಂಡು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ಗೋತ್ರ ಗಳವರಿಗೆ ನ್ಯಾ
And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
ಮತ್ತು ತನ್ನ ಮನೆಗಳನ್ನಾಗಲೀ ಸಹೋದರರನ್ನಾಗಲೀ ಸಹೋದರಿ ಯರನ್ನಾಗಲೀ ತಂದೆಯನ್ನಾಗಲೀ ತಾಯಿಯನ್ನಾಗಲೀ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನಾಗಲೀ ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನಾಗಲೀ ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರಿ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವಾಗಿ ಬಿಟ್ಟುಬಿಡುವ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನು ನೂರರಷ್ಟು ಹೊಂದಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವನು; ಮತ್ತು ನಿತ್ಯಜೀವವನ್ನು ಬಾಧ್ಯ ವಾಗಿ ಹೊಂದುವನುಆದರೆ ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ವರಾದ ಬಹುಮಂದಿ ಕಡೆಯವರಾಗುವರು; ಮತ್ತು ಕಡೆಯವರಾದವರು ಮೊದಲನೆಯವರಾಗುವರು.
And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name’s sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.
ಆದರೆ ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ವರಾದ ಬಹುಮಂದಿ ಕಡೆಯವರಾಗುವರು; ಮತ್ತು ಕಡೆಯವರಾದವರು ಮೊದಲನೆಯವರಾಗುವರು.
But many [that are] first shall be last; and the last [shall be] first.
