ಇದೆಲ್ಲವೂ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯಿಂದ ಹೇಳಲ್ಪಟ್ಟದ್ದು ನೆರವೇರು ವಂತೆ ಆಯಿತು; ಅದೇನಂದರೆ--

- 2ನಿಮ್ಮ ಎದುರಿಗಿರುವ ಹಳ್ಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿರಿ; ಆಗ ಒಂದು ಕತ್ತೆಯು ತನ್ನ ಮರಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕಟ್ಟಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿರುವದನ್ನು ನೀವು ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ಕಾಣುವಿರಿ; ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಚ್ಚಿ ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಬನ್ನಿರಿ.
- 3ಮತ್ತು ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ನಿಮಗೆ ಏನಾದರೂ ಹೇಳಿದರೆ ನೀವು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ಅವು ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಬೇಕಾಗಿವೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿರಿ; ಆಗ ಅವನು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೂಡಲೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸುವನು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
- 4ಇದೆಲ್ಲವೂ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯಿಂದ ಹೇಳಲ್ಪಟ್ಟದ್ದು ನೆರವೇರು ವಂತೆ ಆಯಿತು; ಅದೇನಂದರೆ--
- 5ಇಗೋ, ನಿನ್ನ ಅರಸನು ಸಾತ್ವಿಕನು, ಆತನು ಕತ್ತೆಯನ್ನೂ ಕತ್ತೆಯ ಮರಿಯನ್ನೂ ಹತ್ತಿದವನಾಗಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬರುತ್ತಾನೆ ಎಂದು ಚೀಯೋನ್‌ ಕುಮಾರ್ತೆಗೆ ಹೇಳಿರಿ ಎಂಬದೇ.
- 6ಆಗ ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ಹೊರಟುಹೋಗಿ ಯೇಸು ತಮಗೆ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಕೊಟ್ಟಂತೆಯೇ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
