ಆತನು ಪುನರುತ್ಥಾ ನವಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವರು ಸಮಾಧಿಗಳೊಳಗಿಂದ ಹೊರಗೆ ಬಂದು ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಪಟ್ಟಣದೊಳಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಅನೇಕರಿಗೆ ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರು.

51ಆಗ ಇಗೋ, ದೇವಾಲಯದ ತೆರೆಯು ಮೇಲಿನಿಂದ ಕೆಳಗಿನವರೆಗೆ ಹರಿದು ಎರಡು ಭಾಗವಾಯಿತು; ಭೂಮಿಯು ಕಂಪಿಸಿತು; ಮತ್ತು ಬಂಡೆ ಗಳು ಸೀಳಿದವು;
52ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಸಮಾಧಿಗಳು ತೆರೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವು; ಮತ್ತು ನಿದ್ರೆಹೋದ ಅನೇಕ ಭಕ್ತರ ದೇಹಗಳು ಎದ್ದವು.
53ಆತನು ಪುನರುತ್ಥಾ ನವಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವರು ಸಮಾಧಿಗಳೊಳಗಿಂದ ಹೊರಗೆ ಬಂದು ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಪಟ್ಟಣದೊಳಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಅನೇಕರಿಗೆ ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರು.
54ಆಗ ಶತಾಧಿಪತಿಯು ಮತ್ತು ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಯೇಸುವನ್ನು ಕಾಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದವರು ಭೂಕಂಪವನ್ನೂ ಬೇರೆ ಸಂಭವಗಳು ನಡೆದದ್ದನ್ನೂ ನೋಡಿ ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಭಯಪಟ್ಟು-- ನಿಜವಾಗಿಯೂ ಈತನು ದೇವಕುಮಾರನಾಗಿದ್ದನು ಅಂದರು
55ಯೇಸುವನ್ನು ಗಲಿಲಾಯದಿಂದ ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸಿ ಆತನಿಗೆ ಸೇವೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ಅನೇಕ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರು ದೂರದಿಂದ ನೋಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.
