ಸಾಯಂಕಾಲವಾದಾಗ ಅರಿಮಥಾಯದ ವನಾದ ಯೋಸೇಫನೆಂಬ ಹೆಸರುಳ್ಳ ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯವಂತ ನಾದ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಅಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಬಂದನು. ಅವನು ಸಹ ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಶಿಷ್ಯನಾಗಿದ್ದನು.

Saayankaalavaadaaga arimathaayada vanaada yosephanemba hesarulla aishvaryavanta naada obba manushyanu allige bandanu. Avanu saha yesuvina shishyanaagiddanu.

58ಅವನು ಪಿಲಾತನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಯೇಸುವಿನ ದೇಹಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಬೇಡಿಕೊಂಡನು. ಆಗ ಪಿಲಾತನು ಆ ದೇಹವನ್ನು (ಅವನಿಗೆ) ಒಪ್ಪಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಕೊಟ್ಟನು.
59ಯೋಸೇಫನು ಆ ದೇಹವನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡ ಮೇಲೆ ಅದನ್ನು ಶುದ್ಧವಾದ ನಾರುಮಡಿ ಬಟ್ಟೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸುತಿ
