ಆಗ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಯಾಜಕರು ಆ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯ ನಾಣ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು--ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ಬೊಕ್ಕಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಕು ವದು ನ್ಯಾಯವಲ್ಲ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಅದು ರಕ್ತದಕ್ರಯ ವಾಗಿದೆ ಅಂದರು.

- 7ಅವರು ಆಲೋಚನೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಪರದೇಶಿಗಳನ್ನು ಹೂಣಿಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಆ ಹಣದಿಂದ ಕುಂಬಾರನ ಹೊಲವನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡುಕೊಂಡರು.
- 8ಈ ಕಾರಣದಿಂದ ಆ ಹೊಲವು ರಕ್ತದ ಹೊಲವೆಂದು ಈ ದಿನದ ವರೆಗೆ ಕರೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದೆ.
