ಅವರಿಗೆ--ಸ್ಥಳ ಬಿಡಿರಿ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಹುಡುಗಿಯು ಸತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ, ನಿದ್ರೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾಳೆ ಅಂದನು. ಅದಕ್ಕವರು ಆತನನ್ನು ಹಾಸ್ಯ ಮಾಡಿ ನಕ್ಕರು.

Avarige--sthala bidiri; yaakandare hudugiyu sattilla, nidre maaduttaale andanu. Adakkavaru aatanannu haasya maadi nakkaru.

22ಆದರೆ ಯೇಸು ಹಿಂತಿರುಗಿ ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ--ಮಗಳೇ, ಸಮಾಧಾನದಿಂದಿರು; ನಿನ್ನ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಸ್ವಸ್ಥ ಮಾಡಿಯದೆ ಅಂದನು. ಅದೇ ಗಳಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯು ಸ್ವಸ್ಥಳಾದಳು.
23ತರುವಾಯ ಯೇಸು ಆ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಯ ಮನೆ ಯೊಳಗೆ ಬಂದು ಕೊಳಲೂದುವವರನ್ನೂ ಗೊಂದಲ ಮಾಡುವ ಜನರನ್ನೂ ನೋಡಿ
24ಅವರಿಗೆ--ಸ್ಥಳ ಬಿಡಿರಿ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಹುಡುಗಿಯು ಸತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ, ನಿದ್ರೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾಳೆ ಅಂದನು. ಅದಕ್ಕವರು ಆತನನ್ನು ಹಾಸ್ಯ ಮಾಡಿ ನಕ್ಕರು.
25ಆದರೆ ಜನರು ಹೊರಗೆ ಹಾಕಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಮೇಲೆ ಆತನು ಒಳಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಆಕೆಯ ಕೈಯನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದಾಗ ಆಕೆಯು ಎದ್ದಳು.
26ಇದರ ಕೀರ್ತಿಯು ಆ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹರಡಿತು.
