ಆಗ ಆತನು ದೋಣಿಯನ್ನು ಹತ್ತಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಹೊರಟು ತನ್ನ ಸ್ವಂತ ಪಟ್ಟಣಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದನು.
And he entered into a ship, and passed over, and came into his own city.
ಇಗೋ, ಹಾಸಿಗೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಮಲಗಿದ್ದ ಒಬ್ಬ ಪಾರ್ಶ್ವವಾಯು ರೋಗಿಯನ್ನು ಜನರು ಆತನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ತಂದರು; ಮತ್ತು ಯೇಸು ಅವರ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಆ ಪಾರ್ಶ್ವವಾಯು ರೋಗಿಗೆ--ಮಗನೇ, ಧೈರ್ಯವಾಗಿರು, ನಿನ್ನ ಪಾಪಗಳು ಕ್ಷಮಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿವೆ ಅಂದನು.
And, behold, they brought to him a man sick of the palsy, lying on a bed: and Jesus seeing their faith said unto the sick of the palsy; Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee.
ಆಗ ಇಗೋ, ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವರು-- ಈ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ದೇವದೂಷಣೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆ ಎಂದು ತಮ್ಮತಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡರು.
And, behold, certain of the scribes said within themselves, This [man] blasphemeth.
ಯೇಸು ಅವರ ಆಲೋಚನೆಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದು--ನೀವು ಯಾಕೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹೃದಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದನ್ನು ಯೋಚಿಸುತ್ತೀರಿ?
And Jesus knowing their thoughts said, Wherefore think ye evil in your hearts?
ಯಾವದು ಸುಲಭ--ನಿನ್ನ ಪಾಪಗಳು ನಿನಗೆ ಕ್ಷಮಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿವೆ ಅನ್ನುವದೋ? ಇಲ್ಲವೆ--ಎದ್ದು ನಡೆ ಅನ್ನುವದೋ?
For whether is easier, to say, [Thy] sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and walk?
ಆದರೆ ಮನುಷ್ಯಕುಮಾರನಿಗೆ ಪಾಪ ಗಳನ್ನು ಕ್ಷಮಿಸಿಬಿಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರ ಉಂಟೆಂದು ನೀವು ತಿಳಿಯಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಆ ಪಾರ್ಶ್ವವಾಯು ರೋಗಿಗೆ--ಎದ್ದು ನಿನ್ನ ಹಾಸಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡು ನಿನ್ನ ಮನೆಗೆ ಹೋಗು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (then saith he to the sick of the palsy,) Arise, take up thy bed, and go unto thine house.
ಆಗ ಅವನು ಎದ್ದು ತನ್ನ ಮನೆಗೆ ಹೊರಟುಹೋದನು.
And he arose, and departed to his house.
ಆದರೆ ಜನರ ಸಮೂಹಗಳು ಅದನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯಪಟ್ಟು ಮನುಷ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಇಂಥ ಅಧಿಕಾರವನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಮಹಿಮೆಪಡಿಸಿದರು.
But when the multitudes saw [it], they marvelled, and glorified God, which had given such power unto men.
ತರುವಾಯ ಯೇಸು ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಹಾದು ಹೋಗು ತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಗ ಮತ್ತಾಯನೆಂಬ ಹೆಸರುಳ್ಳ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಸುಂಕದ ಕಟ್ಟೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂತಿರುವದನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಅವ ನಿಗೆ--ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸು ಅನ್ನಲು ಅವನು ಎದ್ದು ಆತನನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸಿದನು.
And as Jesus passed forth from thence, he saw a man, named Matthew, sitting at the receipt of custom: and he saith unto him, Follow me. And he arose, and followed him.
ಇದಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಯೇಸು ಅವನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಊಟಕ್ಕೆ ಕೂತಿದ್ದಾಗ ಇಗೋ, ಬಹುಮಂದಿ ಸುಂಕ ದವರೂ ಪಾಪಿಗಳೂ ಬಂದು ಆತನೊಂದಿಗೂ ಆತನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರೊಂದಿಗೂ ಕೂತುಕೊಂಡರು.
And it came to pass, as Jesus sat at meat in the house, behold, many publicans and sinners came and sat down with him and his disciples.
ಫರಿಸಾ ಯರು ಅದನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಆತನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರಿಗೆ--ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬೋಧಕನು ಸುಂಕದವರ ಮತ್ತು ಪಾಪಿಗಳ ಸಂಗಡ ಯಾಕೆ ಊಟ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆ ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದರು.
And when the Pharisees saw [it], they said unto his disciples, Why eateth your Master with publicans and sinners?
ಆದರೆ ಯೇಸು ಅದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ--ಕ್ಷೇಮದಿಂದಿರುವವರಿಗೆ ಅಲ್ಲ, ಆದರೆ ಕ್ಷೇಮವಿಲ್ಲದವ ರಿಗೆ ವೈದ್ಯನು ಬೇಕು.
But when Jesus heard [that], he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick.
ನೀವು ಹೋಗಿ--ನಾನು ಯಜ್ಞವನ್ನಲ್ಲ; ಕರುಣೆಯನ್ನೇ ಅಪೇಕ್ಷಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ ಎಂಬದರ ಅರ್ಥವನ್ನು ಕಲಿಯಿರಿ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ನಾನು ನೀತಿ ವಂತರನ್ನಲ್ಲ, ಪಾಪಿಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾನಸಾಂತರಪಡು ವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಕರೆಯಲು ಬಂದೆನು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
But go ye and learn what [that] meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
ತರುವಾಯ ಯೋಹಾನನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ಆತನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು--ನಾವು ಮತ್ತು ಫರಿಸಾಯರು ಬಹಳ ಸಾರಿ ಉಪವಾಸಮಾಡುತ್ತೇವೆ; ಆದರೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ಯಾಕೆ ಉಪವಾಸಮಾಡುವದಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದರು.
Then came to him the disciples of John, saying, Why do we and the Pharisees fast oft, but thy disciples fast not?
ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಯೇಸು ಅವರಿಗೆ--ಮದಲಿಂಗನು ತಮ್ಮ ಜೊತೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ತನಕ ಮದಲಗಿತ್ತಿಯ ಮನೇ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ದುಃಖಪಡುವರೇ? ಆದರೆ ಮದಲಿಂಗನು ಅವರಿಂದ ತೆಗೆಯಲ್ಪಡುವ ದಿವಸಗಳು ಬರುವವು; ಆಗ ಅವರು ಉಪವಾಸ ಮಾಡುವರು.
And Jesus said unto them, Can the children of the bridechamber mourn, as long as the bridegroom is with them? but the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken from them, and then shall they fast.
ಯಾವನೂ ಹಳೇ ಬಟ್ಟೆಗೆ ಹೊಸ ಬಟ್ಟೆಯ ತುಂಡನ್ನು ಹಚ್ಚುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ಹಚ್ಚಿದರೆ ಅದು ಆ ವಸ್ತ್ರವನ್ನು ಹಿಂಜುವದರಿಂದ ಹರಕು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗು ವದು.
No man putteth a piece of new cloth unto an old garment, for that which is put in to fill it up taketh from the garment, and the rent is made worse.
ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಹೊಸ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸವನ್ನು ಹಳೇ ಬುದ್ದಲಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಜನರು ಹಾಕುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ಹಾಕಿದರೆ ಅವು ಒಡೆದು ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸವು ಚೆಲ್ಲಿಹೋಗಿ ಬುದ್ದಲಿಗಳು ನಾಶವಾಗುವವು; ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ಹೊಸ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾ ರಸವನ್ನು ಹೊಸ ಬುದ್ದಲಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಕುವರು; ಆಗ ಅವೆರಡೂ ಭದ್ರವಾಗಿರುವವು ಅಂದನು.
Neither do men put new wine into old bottles: else the bottles break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles perish: but they put new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved.
ಆತನು ಈ ವಿಷಯಗಳನ್ನು ಅವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಗ ಇಗೋ, ಒಬ್ಬ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಯು ಬಂದು ಆತನನ್ನು ಆರಾಧಿಸಿ--ನನ್ನ ಮಗಳು ಇದೀಗಲೇ ಸತ್ತು ಹೋಗಿರುವಳು; ಆದರೆ ನೀನು ಬಂದು ಆಕೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಯನ್ನಿಡು; ಆಗ ಅವಳು ಬದುಕುವಳು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
While he spake these things unto them, behold, there came a certain ruler, and worshipped him, saying, My daughter is even now dead: but come and lay thy hand upon her, and she shall live.
ಆಗ ಯೇಸು ಎದ್ದು ತನ್ನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಅವನ ಹಿಂದೆ ಹೋದನು.
And Jesus arose, and followed him, and [so did] his disciples.
ಆಗ ಇಗೋ, ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ವರುಷಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ರಕ್ತಸ್ರಾವ ರೋಗವಿದ್ದ ಒಬ್ಬ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯು ಹಿಂದೆ ಬಂದು ಆತನ ಉಡುಪಿನ ಅಂಚನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟಿದಳು.
And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind [him], and touched the hem of his garment:
ಯಾಕಂದರೆ--ನಾನು ಆತನ ಉಡುಪನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟಿದರೆ ಸಾಕು, ಗುಣವಾಗುವೆನು ಎಂದು ಆಕೆಯು ತನ್ನೊಳಗೆ ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಳು.
For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole.
ಆದರೆ ಯೇಸು ಹಿಂತಿರುಗಿ ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ--ಮಗಳೇ, ಸಮಾಧಾನದಿಂದಿರು; ನಿನ್ನ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಸ್ವಸ್ಥ ಮಾಡಿಯದೆ ಅಂದನು. ಅದೇ ಗಳಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯು ಸ್ವಸ್ಥಳಾದಳು.
But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour.
ತರುವಾಯ ಯೇಸು ಆ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಯ ಮನೆ ಯೊಳಗೆ ಬಂದು ಕೊಳಲೂದುವವರನ್ನೂ ಗೊಂದಲ ಮಾಡುವ ಜನರನ್ನೂ ನೋಡಿ
And when Jesus came into the ruler’s house, and saw the minstrels and the people making a noise,
ಅವರಿಗೆ--ಸ್ಥಳ ಬಿಡಿರಿ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಹುಡುಗಿಯು ಸತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ, ನಿದ್ರೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾಳೆ ಅಂದನು. ಅದಕ್ಕವರು ಆತನನ್ನು ಹಾಸ್ಯ ಮಾಡಿ ನಕ್ಕರು.
He said unto them, Give place: for the maid is not dead, but sleepeth. And they laughed him to scorn.
ಆದರೆ ಜನರು ಹೊರಗೆ ಹಾಕಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಮೇಲೆ ಆತನು ಒಳಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಆಕೆಯ ಕೈಯನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದಾಗ ಆಕೆಯು ಎದ್ದಳು.
But when the people were put forth, he went in, and took her by the hand, and the maid arose.
ಇದರ ಕೀರ್ತಿಯು ಆ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹರಡಿತು.
And the fame hereof went abroad into all that land.
ಯೇಸು ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಹೊರಟಾಗ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಕುರುಡರು ಆತನನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸುತ್ತಾ--ದಾವೀದ ಕುಮಾರನೇ, ನಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ಕರುಣೆ ಇಡು ಎಂದು ಕೂಗಿ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.
And when Jesus departed thence, two blind men followed him, crying, and saying, [Thou] Son of David, have mercy on us.
ಆತನು ಮನೆಯೊಳಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ಆ ಕುರುಡರು ಆತನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದರು; ಆಗ ಯೇಸು ಅವರಿಗೆ--ನಾನು ಇದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಲು ಶಕ್ತನೆಂದು ನೀವು ನಂಬುತ್ತೀರೋ ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ ಅವರು ಆತನಿಗೆ--ಕರ್ತನೇ, ಹೌದು ಎಂದು ಅಂದರು.
And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him: and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yea, Lord.
ಆಗ ಆತನು ಅವರ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟಿ--ನಿಮ್ಮ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಂತೆ ನಿಮಗಾಗಲಿ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you.
ಆಗ ಅವರ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳು ತೆರೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವು; ಮತ್ತು ಯೇಸು ಅವರಿಗೆ--ಇದು ಯಾರಿಗೂ ಗೊತ್ತಾಗಬಾರದು ನೋಡಿರಿ ಎಂದು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಖಂಡಿತವಾಗಿ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಕೊಟ್ಟು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
And their eyes were opened; and Jesus straitly charged them, saying, See [that] no man know [it].
ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ಹೊರಟುಹೋಗಿ ಆ ಸೀಮೆಯಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಆತನ ಕೀರ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಹಬ್ಬಿಸಿದರು.
But they, when they were departed, spread abroad his fame in all that country.
ಅವರು ಹೊರಟು ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಗ ಇಗೋ, ದೆವ್ವ ಹಿಡಿದಿದ್ದ ಮೂಕನಾದ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನನ್ನು ಅವರು ಆತನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ತಂದರು.
As they went out, behold, they brought to him a dumb man possessed with a devil.
ಮತ್ತು ದೆವ್ವವು ಹೊರಗೆ ಹಾಕಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಮೇಲೆ ಮೂಕನು ಮಾತಾಡಿದನು; ಆಗ ಜನಸಮೂಹಗಳವರು ಬೆರ ಗಾಗಿ--ಇಂಥದ್ದು ಎಂದೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಡಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
And when the devil was cast out, the dumb spake: and the multitudes marvelled, saying, It was never so seen in Israel.
ಆದರೆ ಪರಿಸಾಯರು-- ದೆವ್ವಗಳ ಅಧಿಪತಿಯಿಂದ ಇವನು ದೆವ್ವಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ ಅಂದರು.
But the Pharisees said, He casteth out devils through the prince of the devils.
ತರುವಾಯ ಯೇಸು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಹಳ್ಳಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಸಂಚರಿ ಸುತ್ತಾ ಅವರ ಸಭಾಮಂದಿರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಉಪದೇಶಿಸುತಾ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಸುವಾರ್ತೆಯನ್ನು ಸಾರುತ್ತಾ ಜನರಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥತೆಯನ್ನೂ ರೋಗವನ್ನೂ ವಾಸಿಮಾಡಿದರು.
And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.
ಆದರೆ ಆತನು ಜನರ ಸಮೂಹಗಳನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಕನಿಕರಪಟ್ಟನು; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಅವರು ಕುರುಬನಿಲ್ಲದ ಕುರಿಗಳಂತೆ ಚದರಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟು ಬಳಲಿದವರಾಗಿದ್ದರು.
But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd.
ಆಗ ಆತನು ತನ್ನ ಶಿಷ್ಯ ರಿಗೆ--ಬೆಳೆಯು ನಿಜವಾಗಿಯೂ ಬಹಳ; ಆದರೆ ಕೆಲಸದವರು ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ.ಆದದರಿಂದ ಬೆಳೆಯ ಯಜ ಮಾನನು ಕೆಲಸಗಾರರನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಬೆಳೆಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸುವಂತೆ ಆತನನ್ನು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸಿರಿ ಅಂದನು.
Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly [is] plenteous, but the labourers [are] few;
ಆದದರಿಂದ ಬೆಳೆಯ ಯಜ ಮಾನನು ಕೆಲಸಗಾರರನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಬೆಳೆಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸುವಂತೆ ಆತನನ್ನು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸಿರಿ ಅಂದನು.
Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.
