1. 7ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ನಾನು ಅರಸನಿಗೆ--ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ಸಮ್ಮತಿಸಿದರೆ ನಾನು ಯೆಹೂದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಸೇರುವ ತನಕ ನದಿಯ ಆಚೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವ ಅಧಿಪತಿಗಳು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಸಾಗಕಳುಹಿಸುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಅವರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ನನಗೆ ಪತ್ರಗಳು ಕೊಡಲ್ಪಡಲಿ.
2. 8ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಆಲಯದ ಸಂಬಂಧವಾದ ಅರಮನೆಯ ಬಾಗಲಿಗೋಸ್ಕರವೂ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಗೋಡೆಗೋಸ್ಕರವೂ ನಾನು ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸುವ ಮನೆಗೋಸ್ಕರವೂ ತೊಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಲು ಮರ ಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಅರಸನವನಾಧಿಪತಿಯಾದ ಆಸಾಫನಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ನನಗೆ ಪತ್ರ ಕೊಡಲ್ಪಡಲಿ ಅಂದೆನು. ಆಗ ದೇವರ ಒಳ್ಳೇ ಕೈ ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಇರುವ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಅರಸನು ನನಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು.
3. 9ಆಗ ನಾನು ನದಿಯ ಆಚೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಅಧಿಪತಿಗಳ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಅರಸನ ಪತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟೆನು. ಅರಸನು ನನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಸೈನ್ಯಾಧಿಪತಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕುದುರೆ ಸವಾರರನ್ನೂ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು.
4. 10ಹೊರೋನ್ಯನಾದ ಸನ್ಬಲ್ಲಟನೂ ಅಮ್ಮೋನ್ಯ ನಾಗಿರುವ ದಾಸನಾದ ಟೋಬೀಯನೂ ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಮೇಲನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕಲು ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಬಂದದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವರು ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ವ್ಯಸನಪಟ್ಟರು.
5. 11ನಾನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂರು ದಿವಸ ಇದ್ದ ತರುವಾಯ ನಾನೂ ನನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇರುವ ಕೆಲವರೂ ರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಎದ್ದೆವು.
