ಹೀಗೆ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಧೀನಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡರು. ನೀನು ಅವರ ಮುಂದೆ ದೇಶದ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳಾದ ಕಾನಾನ್ಯರನ್ನು ಕುಗ್ಗಿಸಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಇಚ್ಛೆಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವರನ್ನೂ ಅವರ ಅರಸುಗಳನ್ನೂ ದೇಶದ ಜನರನ್ನೂ ಅವರ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟಿ.

23ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವರ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಆಕಾಶದ ನಕ್ಷತ್ರಗಳ ಹಾಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿ ಅವರು ಸ್ವಾಧೀನಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಹೋಗುವರೆಂದು ನೀನು ಅವರ ಪಿತೃಗ ಳಿಗೆ ವಾಗ್ದಾನಮಾಡಿದ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಬರಮಾಡಿದಿ;
24ಹೀಗೆ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಧೀನಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡರು. ನೀನು ಅವರ ಮುಂದೆ ದೇಶದ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳಾದ ಕಾನಾನ್ಯರನ್ನು ಕುಗ್ಗಿಸಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಇಚ್ಛೆಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವರನ್ನೂ ಅವರ ಅರಸುಗಳನ್ನೂ ದೇಶದ ಜನರನ್ನೂ ಅವರ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟಿ.
25ಅವರು ಬಲವಾದ ಪಟ್ಟಣ ಗಳನ್ನೂ ರಸವತ್ತಾದ ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನೂ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಸಮಸ್ತ ಉತ್ತಮವಾದವುಗಳಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿದ ಮನೆ ಗಳನ್ನೂ ತೋಡಿದ ಬಾವಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷೇ ತೋಟ ಗಳನ್ನೂ ಇಪ್ಪೇತೋಪುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿಯಾದ ಹಣ್ಣಿನ ಮರಗಳನ್ನೂ ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಸ್ವಾಧೀನಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡರು. ಹೀಗೆ ಅವರು ತಿಂದು ತೃಪ್ತಿಪಟ್ಟು ಪುಷ್ಟಿಯಾಗಿ ನಿನ್ನ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಉಪಕಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಆನಂದಪಟ್ಟರು.
26ಆದಾಗ್ಯೂ ಅವರು ನಿನಗೆ ಅವಿಧೇಯರಾಗಿ, ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ, ನಿಂತು ತಿರುಗಿಬಿದ್ದು, ನಿನ್ನ ನ್ಯಾಯ ಪ್ರಮಾಣವನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮ ಬೆನ್ನಿನ ಹಿಂದಕ್ಕೆ ಬಿಸಾಡಿ, ಅವರು ನಿನ್ನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗಬೇಕೆಂದು ಸಾಕ್ಷಿ ಹೇಳಿದ ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಂದು ಬಹು ಕೋಪೋದ್ರೇಕ ಗೊಳಿಸಿದರು.
