- 24ಇಗೋ, ಜನವು ದೊಡ್ಡ ಸಿಂಹದ ಹಾಗೆ ಏಳುವದು; ಸಿಂಹದ ಮರಿಯ ಹಾಗೆ ಎದ್ದೇಳುವದು; ಅದು ಬೇಟೆಯನ್ನು ತಿಂದು ಹತವಾದವರ ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ಕುಡಿಯುವ ವರೆಗೆ ಮಲಗದು ಅಂದನು.
- 25ಆಗ ಬಾಲಾಕನು ಬಿಳಾಮ ನಿಗೆ--ಅವರನ್ನು ಶಪಿಸಲೂ ಬೇಡ, ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಲೂ ಬೇಡ ಅಂದನು.
- 26ಆದರೆ ಬಿಳಾಮನು ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರ ವಾಗಿ ಬಾಲಾಕನಿಗೆ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೇಳುವದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಾನು ಮಾಡುವನೆಂದು ನಿನಗೆ ಹೇಳಲಿಲ್ಲವೋ? ಅಂದನು.
- 27ಆಗ ಬಾಲಾಕನು ಬಿಳಾಮನಿಗೆ--ದಯಮಾಡಿ ಬಾ, ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಬೇರೆ ಒಂದು ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಕರಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುವೆನು. ನೀನು ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ನನಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಅವ ರನ್ನು ಶಪಿಸುವದು ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಯುಕ್ತವಾಗಿ ದ್ದೀತು ಅಂದನು.
