ಬಾಲಾಕನು ನನಗೆ ತನ್ನ ಮನೆ ತುಂಬ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ ಬಂಗಾರಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟರೂ ನನ್ನ ಹೃದಯದಿಂದ ಒಳ್ಳೇದನ್ನಾದರೂ ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದನ್ನಾದರೂ ಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಕರ್ತನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಯನ್ನು ವಿಾರಲಾರೆನು; ಕರ್ತನು ಏನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೋ ಅದನ್ನು ಹೇಳುವೆನೆಂದು ನಾನು ಹೇಳಲಿಲ್ಲವೋ? ಇಗೋ, ನನ್ನ ಜನರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತೇನೆ;

King James Version (KJV): If Balak would give me his house full of silver and gold, I cannot go beyond the commandment of the LORD, to do [either] good or bad of mine own mind; [but] what the LORD saith, that will I speak?
World English Bible (WEB): ‘If Balak would give me his house full of silver and gold, I can’t go beyond the LORD’s word, to do either good or bad from my own mind. I will say what the LORD says’?

13ಬಾಲಾಕನು ನನಗೆ ತನ್ನ ಮನೆ ತುಂಬ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ ಬಂಗಾರಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟರೂ ನನ್ನ ಹೃದಯದಿಂದ ಒಳ್ಳೇದನ್ನಾದರೂ ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದನ್ನಾದರೂ ಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಕರ್ತನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಯನ್ನು ವಿಾರಲಾರೆನು; ಕರ್ತನು ಏನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೋ ಅದನ್ನು ಹೇಳುವೆನೆಂದು ನಾನು ಹೇಳಲಿಲ್ಲವೋ? ಇಗೋ, ನನ್ನ ಜನರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತೇನೆ;
14ಬಾ, ಈ ಜನರು ನಿನ್ನ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಕಡೇ ದಿವಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಏನು ಮಾಡುವರೋ ಅದನ್ನು ನಿನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸುವೆನು ಅಂದನು.
15ಆಗ ಅವನು ಸಾಮ್ಯ ರೂಪವಾಗಿ--ಬೆಯೋರನ ಮಗನಾದ ಬಿಳಾಮನು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದು--ತೆರೆದ ಕಣ್ಣುಳ್ಳ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದು.
