ಮನಸ್ಸೆಯ ಮಗನಾದ ಮಾಕೀರನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಗಿಲ್ಯಾದ್‌ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಅದನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು, ಅದರಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಅಮೋರಿಯರನ್ನು ಹೊರಡಿಸಿದರು.
Manasseya maganaada maakeerana makkalu gilyaad deshakke hogi adannu takkondu, adarallidda amoriyarannu horadisidaru.

- 40ಮೋಶೆಯು ಗಿಲ್ಯಾದನ್ನು ಮನಸ್ಸೆಯ ಮಗನಾದ ಮಾಕೀರನಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವನು ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿ ಸಿದನು.
- 41ಆದರೆ ಮನಸ್ಸೆಯ ಮಗನಾದ ಯಾಯಾ ರನು ಹೋಗಿ, ಅವರ ನಗರಗಳನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು, ಅವುಗಳಿಗೆ ಯಾಯಾರನ ನಗರಗಳೆಂದು ಹೆಸರಿಟ್ಟನು.ನೋಬಹನು ಹೋಗಿ ಕೇನಾತೆಂಬ ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನು ಅದರ ಗ್ರಾಮಗಳನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ತನ್ನ ಹೆಸರಿನ ಹಾಗೆ ನೋಬಹ ಎಂದು ಹೆಸರಿಟ್ಟನು.
