ನೀವು ಲೇವಿಯರಿಗೆ ಕೊಡಬೇಕಾದ ಪಟ್ಟಣ ಗಳ ಉಪನಗರಗಳು ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಗೋಡೆಯಿಂದ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಸಾವಿರ ಮೊಳ ಅಗಲವಾಗಿರಬೇಕು.

3ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳು ಅವರಿಗೆ ವಾಸಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಅವುಗಳ ಉಪನಗರ ಗಳು ಅವರ ಪಶುಗಳಿಗೋಸ್ಕರವೂ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಸರಕುಗಳಿ ಗೋಸ್ಕರವೂ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಪ್ರಾಣಿಗಳಿಗೋಸ್ಕರವೂ ಇರ ಬೇಕು.
4ನೀವು ಲೇವಿಯರಿಗೆ ಕೊಡಬೇಕಾದ ಪಟ್ಟಣ ಗಳ ಉಪನಗರಗಳು ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಗೋಡೆಯಿಂದ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಸಾವಿರ ಮೊಳ ಅಗಲವಾಗಿರಬೇಕು.
5ನೀವು ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಹೊರಗೆ ಪೂರ್ವ ಕಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಎರಡು ಸಾವಿರ ಮೊಳ, ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಕಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಎರಡು ಸಾವಿರ ಮೊಳ, ಪಶ್ಚಿಮ ಕಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಎರಡು ಸಾವಿರ ಮೊಳ, ಉತ್ತರ ಕಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಎರಡು ಸಾವಿರ ಮೊಳ ಅಳೆಯಬೇಕು; ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಟ್ಟಣವಿರಬೇಕು; ಹೀಗೆ ಅವರ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳ ಉಪನಗರಗಳು ಇರಬೇಕು.
6ನೀವು ಲೇವಿಯರಿಗೆ ಕೊಡುವ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳೊಳಗೆ ಮನುಷ್ಯಹತ್ಯಮಾಡಿದ ವನು ಓಡುವಹಾಗೆ ಆರು ಆಶ್ರಯದ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳನ್ನು ನೇಮಿಸಬೇಕು; ಅವುಗಳ ಹೊರತು ನೀವು ನಾಲ್ವತ್ತೆರಡು ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಡಬೇಕು.
