ಕರ್ತನು ಚಲ್ಪಹಾದನ ಕುಮಾರ್ತೆಯರ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ ಮಾತು ಏನಂದರೆ--ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಮನಸ್ಸು ಬಂದವರಿಗೆ ಮದುವೆಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿ; ಆದರೆ ತಮ್ಮ ತಂದೆಯ ಕುಟುಂಬದ ಗೋತ್ರದ ವರಿಗೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ಮದುವೆಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬಹುದು.

- 6ಕರ್ತನು ಚಲ್ಪಹಾದನ ಕುಮಾರ್ತೆಯರ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ ಮಾತು ಏನಂದರೆ--ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಮನಸ್ಸು ಬಂದವರಿಗೆ ಮದುವೆಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿ; ಆದರೆ ತಮ್ಮ ತಂದೆಯ ಕುಟುಂಬದ ಗೋತ್ರದ ವರಿಗೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ಮದುವೆಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬಹುದು.
- 7ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಸ್ವಾಸ್ತ್ಯವು ಒಂದು ಗೋತ್ರದಿಂದ ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಗೋತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ತಿರುಗಿಸಲ್ಪಡ ಬಾರದು. ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಒಬ್ಬೊಬ್ಬನು ತನ್ನ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ಗೋತ್ರದ ಸ್ವಾಸ್ತ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊಂದಿ ಕೊಂಡಿರಬೇಕು.
- 8ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಮಕ್ಕಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬೊಬ್ಬನು ತನ್ನ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ಸ್ವಾಸ್ತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಧೀನ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಹಾಗೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಗೋತ್ರ ಗಳೊಳಗೆ ಸ್ವಾಸ್ತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿರುವ ಒಬ್ಬ ಕುಮಾ ರ್ತೆಯು ತನ್ನ ಪಿತೃವಿನ ಕುಟುಂಬದ ಗೋತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನನ್ನು ಮದುವೆಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು.
