ಆ ಮನು ಷ್ಯನು ತನ್ನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯನ್ನು ಯಾಜಕನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ತಂದು ಅವಳಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಕಾಣಿಕೆಯಾಗಿ ಏಫದ ಹತ್ತನೇ ಪಾಲನ್ನು ಜವೆಗೋಧಿಯ ಹಿಟ್ಟನ್ನು ತರಬೇಕು. ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಎಣ್ಣೆಯನ್ನಾದರೂ ಸಾಂಬ್ರಾಣಿಯನ್ನಾದರೂ ಹಾಕ ಬಾರದು; ಅದು ರೋಷದ ಕಾಣಿಕೆಯೂ ಅಪರಾಧ ವನ್ನು ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಕ್ಕೆ ತರುವ ಕಾಣಿಕೆಯೂ ಆಗಿದೆ.

- 17ಆಗ ಯಾಜಕನು ಪವಿತ್ರ ವಾದ ನೀರನ್ನು ಮಣ್ಣಿನ ಗಡಿಗೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತೆಗೆದು ಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು; ಗುಡಾರದ ನೆಲದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಧೂಳನ್ನು ಯಾಜಕನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಆ ನೀರಿನೊಳಗೆ ಹಾಕಬೇಕು.
