ದೀರ್ಘಶಾಂತನು ಶೂರನಿಗಿಂತಲೂ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠನು, ತನ್ನ ಮನಸ್ಸನ್ನು ಆಳುವವನು ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನು ಗೆದ್ದವನಿಗಿಂತಲೂ ಉತ್ತಮನು.ಉಡಿಲಲ್ಲಿ ಚೀಟು ಹಾಕಬಹುದು; ಅದನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಿತಿಗೆ ತರುವಂತದ್ದು ಕರ್ತನದೇ.
