ಹುಡು ಗನ ಶಿಕ್ಷೆಗೆ ಹಿಂತೆಗೆಯಬೇಡ; ಅವನನ್ನು ಬೆತ್ತದಿಂದ ಹೊಡೆದರೆ ಅವನು ಸಾಯುವದಿಲ್ಲ.

Proverbs 23:13 in English

King James Version (KJV): Withhold not correction from the child: for [if] thou beatest him with the rod, he shall not die.

11ಅವರ ವಿಮೋಚಕನು ಬಲಶಾಲಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ಅವರ ವ್ಯಾಜ್ಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಆತನು ವಾದಿಸುವನು.
12ಶಿಕ್ಷಣಕ್ಕೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಹೃದಯವನ್ನೂ ವಿವೇ ಕದ ಮಾತುಗಳಿಗೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಕಿವಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕೊಡು.
13ಹುಡು ಗನ ಶಿಕ್ಷೆಗೆ ಹಿಂತೆಗೆಯಬೇಡ; ಅವನನ್ನು ಬೆತ್ತದಿಂದ ಹೊಡೆದರೆ ಅವನು ಸಾಯುವದಿಲ್ಲ.
14ಅವನನ್ನು ಬೆತ್ತದಿಂದ ಹೊಡೆದು ಪಾತಾಳದಿಂದ ಅವನ ಆತ್ಮವನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸುವಿ;
15ನನ್ನ ಮಗನೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ಹೃದಯವು ಜ್ಞಾನ ವುಳ್ಳದ್ದಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ ನನ್ನ ಹೃದಯವು ಹೌದು, ನನ್ನದೇ ಹರ್ಷಿಸುವದು.
