ಆದಕಾರಣ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಎದುರುಗೊಳ್ಳುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದೆನು; ಅತ್ಯಾಶೆಯಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ತ್ರೀವ್ರವಾಗಿ ಹುಡು ಕುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಂಡುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ.

Aadakaarana naanu ninnannu edurugolluvadakke bandenu; atyaasheyinda ninnannu treevravaagi hudu kuvadakke bandu ninnannu kandukondiddene.

13ಹೀಗೆ ಅವಳು ಅವ ನನ್ನು--ಹಿಡುಕೊಂಡು ಮುದ್ದಿಟ್ಟು
14ನಾಚಿಕೆಯಿಲ್ಲದೆ --ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮಾಧಾನ ಅರ್ಪಣೆಗಳು ಇವೆ; ಈ ದಿವಸ ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಗಳನ್ನು ನಾನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
15ಆದಕಾರಣ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಎದುರುಗೊಳ್ಳುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದೆನು; ಅತ್ಯಾಶೆಯಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ತ್ರೀವ್ರವಾಗಿ ಹುಡು ಕುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಂಡುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
16ಚಿತ್ರವಾಗಿ ನೇಯ್ದ ವಸ್ತುಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ವಿಚಿತ್ರ ವಸ್ತು ಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ಐಗುಪ್ತದ ನಯವಾದ ನಾರುಮಡಿ ಯಿಂದಲೂ ನನ್ನ ಹಾಸಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ಅಲಂಕರಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
17ರಕ್ತಬೋಳ ಅಗರು ಲವಂಗ ಚೆಕ್ಕೆಗಳಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ಹಾಸಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ಸುವಾಸನೆ ಗೊಳಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
