ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ವಸ್ತ್ರದಂತೆ ಶಾಪವನ್ನು ಹೊದ್ದುಕೊಂಡನು; ಅದು ನೀರಿನಂತೆ ಅವನ ಅಂತರಂಗದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಎಣ್ಣೆಯಂತೆ ಅವನ ಎಲುಬುಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಸೇರಲಿ.

Avanu tanna vastradante shaapavannu hoddukondanu; adu neerinante avana antarangadalliyoo enneyante avana elubugalalliyoo serali.

16ಅವನು ಕರುಣೆ ತೋರಿಸುವದನ್ನು ಮರೆತು ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನೊಂದವ ರನ್ನು ಕೊಲ್ಲುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಬಡವನನ್ನೂ ಕೊರತೆಯುಳ್ಳ ವವನ್ನೂ ಹಿಂಸಿಸಿದನು.
17ಅವನು ಶಾಪವನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿ ಮಾಡಿದನು; ಅದು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಬರಲಿ. ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದಕ್ಕೆ ಮೆಚ್ಚಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಅದು ಅವನಿಗೆ ದೂರವಾಗಿರಲಿ.
18ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ವಸ್ತ್ರದಂತೆ ಶಾಪವನ್ನು ಹೊದ್ದುಕೊಂಡನು; ಅದು ನೀರಿನಂತೆ ಅವನ ಅಂತರಂಗದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಎಣ್ಣೆಯಂತೆ ಅವನ ಎಲುಬುಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಸೇರಲಿ.
19ಅದು ಅವ ನಿಗೆ ತೊಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡ ಅಂಗಿಯ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಯಾವಾ ಗಲೂ ನಡುವಿಗೆ ಕಟ್ಟುವ ನಡುಕಟ್ಟಿನ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಇರಲಿ.
20ಇದು ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಕೇಡು ಮಾತಾಡುವ ನನ್ನ ಎದುರಾಳಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಕರ್ತನಿಂದ ಪ್ರತಿಫಲವಾಗಿರಲಿ.
