ಕರ್ತನಲ್ಲಿ ಭರವಸವಿಡುವವರು ಚೀಯೋನ್‌ ಪರ್ವತದ ಹಾಗಿ ದ್ದಾರೆ; ಅದು ಕದಲದೆ ಯುಗಯುಗಕ್ಕೂ ಇರುವದು.
A Song of degrees. They that trust in the LORD [shall be] as mount Zion, [which] cannot be removed, [but] abideth for ever.
ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಬೆಟ್ಟಗಳಿರುವಂತೆ ಕರ್ತನು ಈಗಿನಿಂದ ಯುಗಯುಗಕ್ಕೂ ತನ್ನ ಜನರ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಇದ್ದಾನೆ.
As the mountains [are] round about Jerusalem, so the LORD [is] round about his people from henceforth even for ever.
ನೀತಿವಂತರು ತಮ್ಮ ಕೈಗಳನ್ನು ಅನ್ಯಾಯಕ್ಕೆ ಚಾಚದ ಹಾಗೆ, ದುಷ್ಟನ ಕೋಲು ನೀತಿವಂತರ ಸ್ವಾಸ್ತ್ಯದ ಮೇಲೆ ನೆಲೆಯಾಗಿರುವದಿಲ್ಲ.
For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; lest the righteous put forth their hands unto iniquity.
ಓ ಕರ್ತನೇ, ಒಳ್ಳೆಯವರಿಗೂ ಯಥಾರ್ಥ ಹೃದಯವುಳ್ಳವರಿಗೂ ಒಳ್ಳೇದನ್ನು ಮಾಡು.ಆದರೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಡೊಂಕು ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತಿರುಗುವವರನ್ನು ದುಷ್ಟತನ ಮಾಡುವವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೋಗ ಮಾಡುವನು. ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಸಮಾಧಾನ ವಿರುವದು.
Do good, O LORD, unto [those that be] good, and [to them that are] upright in their hearts.
ಆದರೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಡೊಂಕು ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತಿರುಗುವವರನ್ನು ದುಷ್ಟತನ ಮಾಡುವವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೋಗ ಮಾಡುವನು. ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಸಮಾಧಾನ ವಿರುವದು.
As for such as turn aside unto their crooked ways, the LORD shall lead them forth with the workers of iniquity: [but] peace [shall be] upon Israel.
