ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಭಯಪಟ್ಟು ಆತನ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನು ಧನ್ಯನು.
A Song of degrees. Blessed [is] every one that feareth the LORD; that walketh in his ways.
ಹೀಗಾದರೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಗಳ ಕಷ್ಟಾರ್ಜಿತವನ್ನು ನೀನು ಊಟಮಾಡಿ ಸಂತೋಷ ವುಳ್ಳವನಾಗಿರುವಿ, ನಿನಗೆ ಒಳ್ಳೇಯದಾಗುವದು.
For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy [shalt] thou [be], and [it shall be] well with thee.
ನಿನ್ನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯು ನಿನ್ನ ಮನೆಯ ಪಕ್ಕದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಫಲಭರಿತ ವಾದ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷೇಗಿಡದ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಮೇಜಿನ ಸುತ್ತಲಿರುವ ನಿನ್ನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಎಣ್ಣೇಮರಗಳ ಸಸಿಗಳ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಇರುವರು.
Thy wife [shall be] as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table.
ಇಗೋ, ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಭಯಪಡುವ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಹೀಗೆಯೇ ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಲ್ಪಡುವನು.
Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the LORD.
ಕರ್ತನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಚೀಯೋನಿನೊಳಗಿಂದ ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸುವನು; ನಿನ್ನ ಜೀವನದ ದಿವಸಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ನೀನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದನ್ನು ನೋಡುವಿ.ಹೌದು, ನಿನ್ನ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮೇಲಿರುವ ಸಮಾಧಾನ ವನ್ನೂ ನೀನು ನೋಡುವಿ.
The LORD shall bless thee out of Zion: and thou shalt see the good of Jerusalem all the days of thy life.
ಹೌದು, ನಿನ್ನ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮೇಲಿರುವ ಸಮಾಧಾನ ವನ್ನೂ ನೀನು ನೋಡುವಿ.
Yea, thou shalt see thy children’s children, [and] peace upon Israel.
